The flowers are made with tissue paper, I spray it with glimmer mist and color it with chalk, and then top it with Prima roses.

The little Pixie Linda gave me is watching over my garden

The papers are from The Girls' Paperie and K & Company

Little flowers with lots of ribbon found from my stash
Ric Rac are "From the Garden" found at Etsy, there are a few more interesting items in that set, take a look HERE!

Today Linda came over and we did a little crafting together spent a lot of time chatting, it was fun!
How cool is that to have a crafting friend live close by, the coolest part is, when I get Linda to join me at City Crafter Challenge Blog, we were living 2,500 miles apart at that point of time, and I didn't know that I will be moving to the city where she is. How cool is that, now that we are only 20 minutes away from each other.

My Card Style

Even since I read the blog post on Moxie Fab World about card style, I kept thinking, what is my style, the past few days I have been playing with my paper and thinking a lot at the same time, hmmm..... I think I finally got the answer! My card style is Shabby and Vintage, this is one style that I love and feel very comfortable doing it. Here's one I created today.

This is based on the sketch over at Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #121

And I pick up the colors from The Play Date Cafe PDCC 38

I love making this tissue paper flower, I've made them in many colors, this one is one of my favorite shades, purple/lilac.

"Birthday wishes" stamp is from Papertrey Ink

And the fabric button is covered with 2 different fabric from the scrap stash a girlfriend gave it to me many years ago when she decided to move back to CA after living in New York City for more than 20 years.

Next to that fabric button, you see the yellow pin, and 2 dew drops (lilac and green), I thought they go well together. I placed the dew drops on the tiny tag, I love making tags!

Pearl in the middle of my tissue paper is from Martha Stewart Craft
Seam binding ribbons in 2 different shades.
