Happy Fall and CCCB 434 ~ Halloween

Happy Fall!!

I know I am late but I just have to tell you that today, here in Vegas, it was COLD.....
I finally need to bring a jacket when I go out, and tomorrow morning I might need my winter hat and gloves when I take Papi to the dog park.... brrrr.......

This week at City Crafter Challenge Blog, the theme is HALLOWEEN!
Check out challenge details HERE!

as you know, my craft room is still not in full swing, I don't know when it will be since I am working and when I get home, there is just other things to do so I really don't have much time to organize my crafting space yet.
Good things I have a big box of new stuff that I can use for my DT projects for now....

the stickers and border paper I used are the Halloween collection from Paper House Production, I won a prize package last year and this is the first time I open the package, LOL! Oh well, just in time!

I wanted to add sequins onto the card but I can't find them, so I just grab what I can see in my craft room, LOL, which is the studs in a small box that was neglected for a long while, I am sure they are happy that we moved to this new house, other wise they will never ever see day light again, LOL!

I hope you join in the fun at City Crafter Challenge Blog.

Before you go, check out my Crafty Stuff for Sales Page, I update them every week and add new items. Still have tons of things need to get rid in order to have a tiny craft room.

PTI Make it Monday #262 ~ Pumpkin Stamps 3 Ways

Ashley is so clever to come up with this challenge, I really love it!!!!

Of course the first thing I do is to dig out all the PTI pumpkin stamps and die, I decided to use the Pumpkin Patch Die as mask on my first card....

a lot of sponging and splatting for the background, and then I used PTI Modern Alphabet Dies for "BOO"
Last thing is to use a very very old PTI paper pad, I believe already out of stock.

Well, after all those sponging and splatting, I left with the pumpkin that looks really fun, so I used it on my second card.....

the background stamps are the acorn and leaves from PTI Falling Leaves Stamp Set, the sentiment "happy fall" is also from the same stamp set......

other PTI products behind the pumpkins are Frame Out #12 Die and  It's Official 8x8 Patterned Paper Pad.

I actually like the second card a lot better than the first, but the third card is my favorite of all three....

using the same pumpkin dies, I add glitters to them....

I stamped the pumpkins on vellum, embossed with white embossing powder and then layered it over grey card stock. The pumpkin stamps for the background is PTI Vintage Picnic Stamp Set

the sentiment is from PTI Pumpkin Patch Stamp Set and the banner is one of my favorite die - PTI Tag Sale Quilted Die

so  here's my Pumpkin Stamps 3 Ways, what do you think?

.....................................

In just a few hours, we are leaving for a road trip (I love road trip because Papi can come along). Going for a short break that I needed so badly, to be close to the ocean, ahhhh...... remember? I am a mermaid at heart!

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 323 ~ I gained a stone

This week at..

Stella wants us to add something sweet to our project. My card was inspired by Betsy Veldman when PTI first release this candy cane die....

that gotta be quite sometime ago....

it has a lot of candies, tiny candies...

I hope you have something sweet to share with us too.

Just a little happy puppy note in case you need one just like me...

COCONUT had his first shot last Friday, this little one is almost held 24 hours a day in Dolce's arm

and we went to Chris Botti at Smith Center last Thursday, we got the front row seat, he is the only artist that encourage audience to take tons of picture, just like his other shows we have been too, it was great!

AAA Cards #58 ~ Sequins

The Saturday Scrapping Class is ending in May, since we do not have a lot of budget given by the school to do the class, I challenged my student to used the left overs as much as possible, looking at the color of the cardstock we have, I decided to make a Halloween card in February as my class sample, LOL! so I could used up all the fall colors plus the cut outs we had in the scrap box.

I am proud that every bits and pieces I used on the card are from the scrap box, the class did a halloween treat box back in September, we have a lot of spooky eyes left in the box.

I did sponsor the class a few sequins to work on though

I am linking my card to the challenge over at

Stop by and join in the fun!

Project Life ~ October 5 - 31

Project Life 2015

October 14
October was quite and not much going on, however, I did go to my friend Melissa's house for a small gathering, we made dumplings together. I brought an Italian chocolate cake and some double chocolate cookies.

October 19
Papi likes to go out to the back yard, he would just sit in front of the sliding door and wait for me to let him out every time. This morning I took him to the dog park and was hungry when we got home, so I let him out to the backyard and have breakfast before I shower him (oh, he is a clean dog, we don't let him walk around the house with dirty feet) and it was funny, this time, he was looking into the house from outside, and begging for me to let him in, LOL!

and then after shower..... he is back to looking out from the inside again, LOL!

October 31
It is always fun to go to the strip and people watch, especially on halloween
and here's a few pictures of the fall/halloween decor and Papi in his halloween costume.
