Absolutely Fabulous Layout

It's been a while since I last make a 12x12 layout, I am finally back in routine after all those traveling, here's one for....

Challenge Yourself #34

I don't think I have a lot of layout with fall colors, but here's my take on this beautiful fall palette....

I picked a dark brown cardstock for my background and then start working those fall leaves around....

 the sentiment die is from MFT, I absolutely love it....

I decided to use colors on kraft, the stencil is a leaf die-cut from PTI leaf prints die collection

I just love playing with those fall colors.....
next I add a PTI tag cut with PTI cardstock Raspberry Fizz....

  
stamped with the sentiment from PTI Meadow Greens Stamp Set....

 now the layers.... first is the same PTI leaf I used on the background, and I add another one with glitters, I really love how Melissa Phillips layered her cut in this week's video...

followed by twine, and more layers.....

Our Beautiful World 167 ~ Autumn

If you haven't know yet, AUTUMN is my favorite season of the year.......

not just because my Chinese name is 秋， which means AUTUMN....

it is also because AUTUMN is always beautiful no matter which part of the world you are.....

PTI Make it Monday #262 ~ Pumpkin Stamps 3 Ways

The Challenge:

PTI Make it Monday #262 ~ Pumpkin Stamps 3 Ways

Ashley is so clever to come up with this challenge, I really love it!!!!

Of course the first thing I do is to dig out all the PTI pumpkin stamps and die, I decided to use the Pumpkin Patch Die as mask on my first card....

 a lot of sponging and splatting for the background, and then I used PTI Modern Alphabet Dies for "BOO"

Last thing is to use a very very old PTI paper pad, I believe already out of stock.

Well, after all those sponging and splatting, I left with the pumpkin that looks really fun, so I used it on my second card.....

 the background stamps are the acorn and leaves from PTI Falling Leaves Stamp Set, the sentiment "happy fall" is also from the same stamp set......

other PTI products behind the pumpkins are Frame Out #12 Die and  It's Official 8x8 Patterned Paper Pad.

I actually like the second card a lot better than the first, but the third card is my favorite of all three....

using the same pumpkin dies, I add glitters to them....

I stamped the pumpkins on vellum, embossed with white embossing powder and then layered it over grey card stock. The pumpkin stamps for the background is PTI Vintage Picnic Stamp Set. 

the sentiment is from PTI Pumpkin Patch Stamp Set and the banner is one of my favorite die - PTI Tag Sale Quilted Die.

In just a few hours, we are leaving for a road trip (I love road trip because Papi can come along). Going for a short break that I needed so badly, to be close to the ocean, ahhhh...... remember? I am a mermaid at heart!
