City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 431 ~ Pet Company

If you are here much, you should already know my Papillon is big part of my life.....

and I really really really love him.....

not just Papi, I also love the other two dogs that visit me often and I pet-sit frequently, Clare's dog Lila....

and Dolce's dog Alfie Coconut....

I love them all!

I am sure many of you are like me, love our pet dog, pet cat etc......
So this week at City Crafter Challenge Blog, I named the theme...

PET COMPANY

We want to see a project related to your pet, here's mine

this is a mini album I made for Dolce, lots of Alfie's pictures...

The title of this album is Dog Rules for Humans.

all the stamps and dies used are from My Creative Time...

I know, lots of photo, well, can't help since it is an album with lots of pages, now hop over to City Crafter Challenge Blog and check out the CCCB Designers!

During the move to our new house, I noticed I have tons of crafting supplies that I rarely touch in years, so I decided to part with them to prepare for our next move, LOL!

I've added some new craft punch if you are interested, they are all cheaper than I posted elsewhere, so please take a look - Crafty Stuff for Sale.

Morning Walks and City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 429 ~ Fall Colors

It has been slightly over a week since we moved to the new house, I felt like I haven't get anything done, let alone setting up my craft room.
I haven't been able to sleep well at night and wake up every hour because I have some much on my mind.... need to get the pantry, kitchen going, get the curtains up for privacy etc.... whew.....
Since I got up early every morning at 6, I take Papi for our morning walk....

that's the nice thing about Vegas, we are surrounded by mountains, when I walk out of our gated community, I see mountains from far.....

and when I turn right, I see our Lone Mountain, the one used to be at our backyard....

and on our way home before turning right into our community, I am facing the mountains again.....

Papi already knows his way home, he knows when to make the right turn.......

There is so much rules with the HOA, not only we have to pay nearly $200 to the HOA, we had to get approval for any little thing we want to do in our own backyard, like putting in a plant..... we are so angry about that, I put in a little garden/pee pad for Papi on the very next day we moved in because I didn't want him to just pee anywhere in the backyard, so I am retraining him to just do his business at pee pad garden, and then we found out that we probably would get a fine for that because we didn't submit our application for approval before making that garden pee pad! That makes me so angry!

the garden is not complete yet, we still need the edges done but it is on hold because of the HOA, right now, I have the pea gravel on top of some other soil and rocks and mesh, at least Papi has a spot to go to do his business, I think the mushroom is not very happy getting watered everyday though, LOL!

Ok, better keep this short since I still need to get back to unpacking, LOL!

Here's the project for City Crafter Challenge Blog, the theme is Fall Colors, check out challenge details HERE!

NYC and City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 401 ~ Die Cuts

Last weekend, we flew to New York City.....

every time I am here at Dolce's apartment, I always feel grateful that she is in this great city, living just one block away from all the action - Times Square...

and Central Park is just 10 minutes walk from the apartment...

early Monday morning, Dolce and I took Alfie to the park....

it was 6:30 AM and 37F, brrrrr......

it was cold but it was beautiful, the girls and I used to spent many Sundays at Central Park when we first moved to NYC, the walk brought back a lot of sweet memories....

Alfie Coconut in his winter outfit, running leash-free at Central Park, got to be the cutest sight!

I spent a few days with the two and took so many cute pictures of Alfie!!!!

when I was going to leave, Alfie just had to show that sad puppy face! Awww... hard to leave!

................................

My project today is for the challenge at...

The theme is DIE CUTS, check out challenge details HERE!

I remember my first encounter with die cuts, they are just pre-cut embellishment sold at craft stores.....

whenever I am at the craft stores, I just stock up all those die cuts because you'll never know when you are going to need them... but these days, we all have dies and die cut machine to do our own, I cut them only when I need.....

here's a layout using both store-bought die cuts as well as those I cut at home.
