City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 428 ~ By Sea or Sky

We moved the new house on Friday, the movers came at 7AM and left at 6 PM, and still cannot get everything done, over the weekends, both of us have to drive back and forth from old house to new house to bring the rest of the stuff, and this morning, we finally managed to get help from someone who is willing to work on labor day and bring the bigger items that cannot fit into the car to the new place, whew...... I track my steps on my apple watch, oh boy, I completed all three circles on the watch all 4 days, which I only achieved when I am traveling and on my foot all day.

Why do I have so much stuff??????

Goal I set for myself moving forward - to get rid of most of my crafting stuff!!!!

I have not turn on my computer since last Friday, I finally had to hook it up to write this post! Ok, I better get on point and then get back to unpacking!

I used a very old wooden stamp I bought in Singapore way before I started stamping....

they are seashells you'd find under the sea.....

  

 

the stitched frame is a MFT die...

after stamped and embossed it with white embossing powder, I do the background and then add sequins and jewel drops.....

I really wish I could do more but I am leaving town early tomorrow morning, and have tons of to do list before we leave, the card was made few days ago but I really can't find time to do the post until now, ya, last minute...

I really love the color combination, something I will never do if not for the mood board.

Here's the sketch

I use a few of my new MFT goodies.....

 the flowers and leaves are from the latest MFT pretty peonies stamp and die

the stitched frame is also new - MFT Die-namics Inside and out stitched rounded rectangle stax

the scallop edge at the bottom is a old MFT trim die (see picture below)

and I use the circle for the middle of the flower too, see colorful dots?

ahhh... it is Monday, just a few more days I am leaving my little Papi and on for a long trip, sigh.....
