PAPERTAKE WEEKLY - WEATHER WITH YOU

Hello Everyone

And a great big "HIYA!" to my new followers - thank you for choosing to follow my work, I am so flattered.


It's Tuesday and it's time for this week's challenge at Papertake Weekly and our challenge this week is "Weather With You".  So we want to see all your lovely creations that has anything to do with the weather, sun, rain a nice day - you get the gist?

Now I'm a great believer in publishing all my work good or bad, and for some reason I just feel that this is not one of my best :o(   I think it's because I really really struggled to find a nice green but I just adore this Mo image.

Anyways, enough of my ramble.  The recipe for the card is:

Digi Stamp:  Mo Manning - Baby Shower
Papers:  Simple Stories - Baby Steps (I got this from The Hobby House but it's not on their website yet, so if you want it, give them a call)
Charm:  Teddies - The Hobby House
Seam Binding:  Moss Green - The Ribbon Girl

The image has been coloured with Copics and Promarkers with a bit of 70% Cool Grey Prismacolour Pencil for some shading:

Skin:  E11 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Hair:  E37 E35 E34 E31
Umbrella:  Apple (Promarker) Meadow (Promarker) YG11
Nappy:  C1 C0
Dummy:  Boo B0000 / E31
Shading:  W5 W3 W1 W0

I have outlined the image using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink
The papers and card have been edged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink

TOTALLY GORJUSS - OH NO SNOW!

Well Howdy Y'All

A big "HELLO" to my new followers - thank you so much for choosing to follow me it means so much and I am very flattered indeed.


It's Saturday - again already - and that means it's challenge time over at Totally Gorjuss and this week we would like to see all your creations with a 'Snow' theme which is just perfect timing as I get to make another Christmas card, (oh my gosh I am sooooo behind!).

Rhinestones:  The Hobby House

I have coloured the image with Copics:

Skin:  E21 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Hair:  E44 E43 E42 E41 / N0 (shading)
Coat:  E29 E27 E24 E22
Top:  E42 E41 E40
Trousers, Leg Warmers and Socks:  E42 E41 E40 / E37 E35 E34
Squirrel:  E15 E`3 E11 E00 E0000 / R20 (cheeks)
Squirrel Hat:  E27 E24
Little Birdie:  E35 E34 E31
Branch:  E27 E24 E23

I have outlined the image with Iced Spruce Distress Ink
The papers have been edged with Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Liquid Applique has been used for the snow on the branch which has been covered in Glamour Dust
Angelica's wings, coat, the squirrel's hat and all the snow has been doused in Glamour Dust

And there you have it.
