STRIPES

Hello Everyone

Brrrrr, Autumn has definitely arrived here with us this week - the heating is on!

Sorry I was MIA last week but since last Thursday I have had the most horrible few days :(

I had to put my Sister's beautiful cat "Paddy" to sleep last Thursday, and she doesn't know yet as she is on holiday and not back until this weekend!  For those of you who know me, you will know how much I just adore cats, especially my Winston :o) and I was the one who chose Paddy for my Sister from our local RSPCA nearly 14 years ago - I am just heart-broken :((

Then my best friend sent me a text on Wednesday morning to say that her Brother had passed away - he was only 54 and was diagnosed with brain cancer just 8 weeks ago.

Finally, one of my dealers passed away on Thursday at the ripe old age of 48!!!! What!  He was diagnosed with stomach cancer just three weeks ago and now he's not here!  He leaves behind a wonderful family with three children, 2 girls aged 21 and 11 and the most gorgeous little boy aged just 2!  I just can't believe it - I am just shocked and I am angry - I just don't understand why

I'm surprised that I have managed to make a card this week, but I tucked myself away in my craft room to take my mind off everything and have put one together.

PAPERTAKE WEEKLY - BINGO

Hi To You All

This is my very first card for the Papertake Weekly Challenge, I was thrilled when I was asked to join their super talented DT team - thank you so much for having me.

So, what's this week's challenge ..... it's 'BINGO' and our very generous sponsor this week is Whiff of Joy.

Now for those of you who don't know about BINGO, it's quite simple really, you just choose a line ie; horiztontal, vertical, diagonal or all four corners and your creation has to have all those elements in it.  For example the top line going across would be "Glitter - Punches - Lace", so we want to see whatever you make with these items on it so don't forget to mention it on your blog.

So what are you waiting for?  Get you entries in over at Papertake Weekly and you could be in with a chance to win.  Don't forget to check out what the wonderful DT girlies have made to whet your appetite.

Here is the card I made going with the bottom horizontal line - "Blooms - Ribbons - Gems":

The recipe for the card is:

Digi Stamp:  Saturated Canary - Blanche - by Krista Smith
Digi Papers:  Scrapmatters - Winterberry - by Jennifer Labre Designs
Leaf Die:  Memory Box - Lavish Branch
