PAPERTAKE WEEKLY - ONE PAPER TAKER

Hello Everyone

How are you all?  I hope you are all keeping well.

It's Tuesday again which means it's challenge time over at Papertake Weekly and this week's challenge is "One Paper Taker" which means you can only use one piece of patterened paper - easy huh?

Our lovely sponsor this week is The Ribbon Girl so if you want to be in with a chance to win make sure you get your entries in over at Papertake Weekly and as always check out and see what the wonderful creative DT ladies have made for you.

Here is my card:

Now I know some of you will be wondering why the Bride has red hair - well, my Sister asked me to make a wedding card for one of her friends and it just so happens that the Bride is sporting some rather lovely red hair - what a great way to personalise a card, I don't think  you would ever get a card in a shop with a Bride with red hair.

Anyways, enough with the waffle.  The recipe for the card is:

Digital Stamp:  Make It Crafty - Over the Threshold
Paper:  Kaisercraft - Sweet Nothings (this is such a gorgeous pad!)
Roses:  Marianne Designs Creatables - English Rose
Leaf Die:  Joy - Vintage Flourishes - Thin Branch Leaves
Corner Die:  La La Land - Filigree Corner Die
Sentiment Die:  Spellbinders - Double Ended Tags
Sentiment:  Whimsy - Simple Everyday Greetings
Pearls:  The Hobby House
Heart Pins:  The Hobby House
Pearl Brads:  The Hobby House
Ribbon and Charm:  From My Stash

The image has been coloured with Copics, Promarker and Flexmarker:

Skin:  E11 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Brides Hair:  R29 R24 R22
Grooms Hair:  E27 E25 E23
Wedding Dress and Shoes:  Satin (Promarker) / Antique White (Flexmarker) / E0000
Veil:  C1 C0
Grooms Suit:  N6 N5 N4 N3
Grooms Shoes:  W5 W3 W2 W1
Shading:  W5 W3 W2 W1 W0

The image has been outlined with Weathered Wood Distress Ink
The Papers have been edged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink

One final picture to show you of the inside of the card:

Phew - and that's it.

Have a great week everyone and thank you so much for popping by.
