IT'S A SKETCH!

Happy Tuesday Everyone

Well what a bootiful weekend we have just had - even though I was working at least I was outside and able to enjoy the weather :D

It's challenge time over at Papertake Weekly and this week we have a fabulous sketch for you.  Now, you don't have to use this sketch, you can use any of the other PTW too which you can find HERE - good eh.

Our generous sponsor for the challenge is Simon Says Stamp, so if you want to be in with a chance to win a voucher to spend in their store then get your entries in over at Papertake Weekly.

Here is the sketch:

Pretty straight forward huh?

Here is the card I have made:

How you ever cleaned your workspace or room up and then can NEVER FIND ANYTHING!!!  Well, that's what's happened to me with this card - I had a little sticky note with all the details on and VAMOUSH!  GONE!  I'm so sorry, but I can remember that the digi stamp is from Bugaboo called Stella Nursing - Stupidity - a bit like me eh :-S sorry.

So that's it.  Thank you for dropping by and I hope you will come and join in the fun with us.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

A Little Bit Crafty

Good Morning Everyone

How are we all?  Good I hope.

Wow - it's the first of September already!  Sheesh, where has this year gone?!  Won't be long before the Christmas adverts are on television :oO

Well, seeing as it's the first of the month that means it's challenge time over at A Little Bit Crafty and we have an easy challenge for you this month which is "CAS" or "Clean and Simple".  Well, I say simple but it's not so simple to make a card without putting lots and lots of lovely embellies on it is it! ;o)

We have three very generous sponsors for the challenge who are:

Bugaboo Stamps - 7 Free Digi's

Delicious Doodles - 4 Free Digi's

Craft All Day - £10 Voucher

How good is that!

So, if you want to be in with a chance to win one of these most excellent prizes then make sure you get your entries in over at A Little Bit Crafty and make sure you check out what the wonderful DT ladies have made for your inspiration.  Remember, it doesn't have to be a card, it can be anything that you have hand-crafted.

Here is my card for the challenge:

I thought seeing as the kids are going back to school this week I would make a card themed around it.

The recipe for the card is:

Digi Stamp:  Bugaboo - Fanny - Calendar Months - September

The image has been coloured with Copics as follows:

Skin:  E21 E00 E000 / R20 R30 (cheeks)
Hair:  E55 E53 E51 E50
Clothes:  T6 T5 T4 T3 T2 / YR18 YR14 YR12
Tights:  T6 T5 T4 T3 T2
Shoes:  YR18 YR14 YR12
Books:  E27 E24 E23 / E44 E43 E42 E41
Apples:  R39 R27 R24 R22 / YG67 YG63
Shading:  W5 W3 W1 W0

I am still practising with my Copic Air Compressor and have outlined the image with T1
The papers have been edged with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink
I have used Glossy Accents on the apples too to give them some dimension

And that's it.

I hope you will come and join in the fun with us.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

This weeks sponsor is the wonderful Joanna Sheen and here is the sketch for the challenge:

We would love to see all your creations following the sketch but remember, you can play around with it a little, maybe turn it upside-down or create a mirror image; basically have a good play so long as we can see that you have based your card on the sketch.

Make sure you go and see the gorgeous creations our lovely ladies over at Totally Gorjuss have made for your inspiration - they are wonderful as always.

Here is the card I have made:

It's my Dad's Birthday on Monday and I just totally fell in love with this image - it is such good fun.  Got to say it feels a little weird not making a Christmas-themed card!

Image coloured with Copics and Promarkers

Skin:  E11 E00 E000 R20 R30
