My Thoughts on True Blood Season 7 Episode 10

So did everyone keep their composure? I know some of you cried, and there is nothing wrong with that. It was certainly a night filled with emotion. We had a few surprises, and some things went according to plan. I can't say I'm happy with everything that happened, but I didn't expect to be. So here are my final thoughts on True Blood, and the appropriately named episode 10, "Thank You."   My thoughts on the characters before “One Year Later”…   Mr. Gus: Toast! Just as expected! Eric had enough of him. You can't threaten Pam and Sookie and get away with it. I will say it was kind of weak how he seemed so in control then all of the sudden Eric gets the best of him and that's it.   Mr. Gus's men: No more whorehouses for you! I wish they would have shown Eric kill them.   Pam: Surprised she didn't win for my favorite line of the night! Not surprised she didn't read Bill's book! They certainly enjoyed dressing her...

My Thoughts on True Blood Season 7, Episode 9

All right my plea for some action just isn't working. The focus has been strongly on the character relationships, and how they are going to finish. Also on how badly they can depress the audience! Honestly, that's not really how I like my True Blood, but I guess that is what we get when a show is coming to an end. There might be a touch of action next week involving Eric, Pam, Mr. Gus, and Sarah, but that will probably be it. I'll get to my predictions later, but for now here are my thoughts on episode 9, "Love is to Die"   Arlene: Still putting on a happy face. It's nice to see someone is trying to keep things together in a somewhat dead town.   Wade: Needs a few seats in between him and Adilyn.   Adilyn: Daddy is watching! That must be weird but somewhat cool to speak to someone just in your head. Someone besides yourself that is!   Holly: Saw you somewhere in the background. Enjoy the last supper!   Lafayette: Well it looks li...

My Thoughts on True Blood Season 7, Episode 8

It was good to see the pace pick up again. I would expect this to continue until the end now. Then again, the finale might end slowly as things come to an end. The focus seems to be narrowing on a few storylines, but I hope we get one last goodbye to a majority of those who are left. So to those who are left reading this, here are my thoughts on episode 8, "Almost Home"   Arlene: Pass me a drink please! I’m just getting started!   Sam: His storyline is meaningless now. It’s kind of a shame for someone who has been so important from the beginning.   Unknown family: I guess you should be used to all the craziness by now.   James: Thanks for the V.   Rev: I seriously thought he was gone for good. I can't believe he drank the blood. At least now he can move on with Tara's mom.   Tara's mom: Forgiven at last! It must feel good even with Tara gone.   Lafayette: Isn't really getting much of his own storyline to end it with...

My Thoughts on True Blood Season 7, Episode 7

So how not exciting was this episode? It was like they slowed things down just to build up your suspense for another week. This was another emotional driven episode lacking in action! Since they got rid of the H-vamps, they have really focused on the characters last days, and are holding the action until the end. They continued with the theme of bringing back old faces, but still haven't brought back the one vamp I want to see... The King! So before I complain too much about not having the King back, here are my thoughts on episode 7, “May Be the Last Time.”   Tara's Mom: Dig!   Lafayette: Dig faster!   Little Girl: There are people, not dogs, digging up the yard! Call 9-1-1!!!   Jason: Really needs to keep his eyes to himself! He doesn't need to go down this road again. Then again, isn't it mandatory that he sleeps with the new blonds in town?   Bridget: Why hello there new blond in town! She is way to friendly, and touchy. She do...

My Thoughts on True Blood Season 7 Episode 6

Praise Lilith! Praise Billith! Praise whomever you want! Holy Werepanther, there's a cure! What are you waiting for? We have vamps to cure! Start mass production right now! Oh thank you Sarah! Wait Sarah! Does that mean we can't kill her now? And where did she go? While I get over that sad fact, here are my thoughts on episode 6, "Karma"   Mayor of Crazy: Time for a divorce! I knew she wasn't for you. Oh and it's going be hard keeping the kids with the whole shifting thing... unless they shift too which would be awesome!   Nicole: Still don't like her!   Wade: Just ignored what Jason had to say! Sleeping with your step-sister-fairy! Couldn't resist huh?   Adilyn: And here I thought she decided to be a good little fairy. Boy is it going to be fun when she pops out 5-6 little fairies like her mom did! It’s things like this that make me sad there won’t be another season.   Rocky: Who thought he would be the sensible one after all? ...

My Thoughts on True Blood Season 7 Episode 5

So after several episodes of fighting off the sick vamps everyone seemed to exhale, and take a needed break. There was time to say goodbyes, while still looking forward to the future. That is for those that have a future, and didn't just screw it up. There wasn't much action, but it was certainly a night for change. Here are my thoughts on episode 5, "Lost Cause"   Jackson: Let’s start this off with another goodbye to your son. I thought he was good for Sookie, and a lot of women watching thought he was good for them!   Rev.: Sleeping on the job! Don't you know people get hurt when you do that!   Tara's mom: Crazy! Crazy! Crazy! She needs to go to Michael Myers School! She's still not getting any sympathy from me.   Willa: Got stabbed but what's new? Oh yea, she's free to do what she wants now. Not like she wasn't already doing that.   Sam: Nice save, but I wouldn't have minded if those vamps put an end to Tara's ...

My Thoughts on True Blood Season 7 Episode 4

That's right, no more bottles this week! I can't take it anymore. The episodes are depressing enough without another reminder that's it's over. Besides the continuing onslaught of depressing moments, we got a typical True Blood action scene, and got to see some old faces again. Some I'm happy to see, and others I'm glad they're gone. So here are my thoughts on episode 4, "Sick of Goodbyes."   Pay phone: Yes, that was a pay phone that Sookie was using for those who don't know.   Alcide's father: Sorry for your loss.   Hoyt: I should have mentioned it last week, but I knew we would be seeing him again. Never been a huge fan of his, and I can't say I'm sorry for his loss.   Arlene's children: I don't remember them being so grown up. Shows how much we get to see them.   Holly: Proved to be useless again if it weren't for Sookie.   Andy: Might have been even more useless than her in this episode. ...

My Thoughts on True Blood Season 7 Episode 3

It looks like every week they will be posting these pics with the bottles reminding us of how many episodes remain. What a depressing way to kick off the episode each week! They kind of make me want to sing, "10 bottles of Tru Blood on the wall, 10 bottles of Tru Blood. Take one down..." So before I finish my song, here are my thoughts on episode 3, "Fire in the Hole."   Sarah: Should be dead! Looks like she will be hunted down one-way or the other… One season too late! Sylvie: Just another girl that Eric couldn't save. Eric: Let's go man! I mean vampire! Get up and kill Sarah already!   Pam: So smart. Just when you thought she was going to walk away. Not only smart, but winner for my favorite line of the night again when she said, "I'm as big a fan of the French vagina as you are."   Nan: Now there is a face I didn't think we would see again. We might see a few more before it's over. Ah, how I would so like to s...

My Thoughts on True Blood Season 7 Episode 2

My first thought of the night: what the hell is going on? Last we saw Jason he was banging Violet, and last we saw Eric, he was tanning on a mountain. Then they are in a room together about to get it on!!! Oh True Blood you are wasting no time messing with me again! I will miss you messing with me like that! So here are my thoughts on the rest of episode 2, "I Found You."   People of Bon Temps: Jason might have gone a little crazy with his dream, but the people of Bon Temps have gone nuts. They are in full angry mob mode, and nothing good will come of that. They are more likely to kill each other than the vampires.   Miss Fortenberry: She's had her moments over the seasons, but I finally think it's time for her to die!   Tara's mom: Add her name to the must die list as well. Talking about dark places when she's the one high on V. Anyone else think she might have killed Tara?   Lafayette: Maybe he should be the one to kill her. It would...

My Thoughts on True Blood Season 6 Episode 1

Waiting no longer sucks unless you are still waiting for Dexter (yup still sucks). We are finally back to the land where naked evil Superman flies around, and Mary Poppins and her brother have to come up with a way to stop him. Sounds like a bad comic, but it’s not. It’s just True Blood being True Blood, and it’s good to have the funny character descriptions back. So lets take a look at episode 1, “Who Are You, Really?”   First, I’m glad they started where they left off, which was expected. I hate when they fast-forward months ahead (cough Falling Skies cough). However, the group’s escape really wasn’t as dramatic as I wanted. It was almost too easy. I guess we got all the death, and craziness in the season finale. It was cool seeing Billith take off like Superman (thanks Jason).   Then the group started not being a group, and we got to see where the characters are going to start off the season. As mentioned, Eric and Nora look like they are going to b...
