THE BOY BEHIND THE DOOR REVIEW

After Bobby and his best friend Kevin are kidnapped and taken to a strange house in the middle of nowhere, Bobby manages to escape.  But as he starts to make a break for it, he hears Kevin’s screams for help and realizes he can’t leave his friend behind. Starring: Lonnie Chavis, Ezra Dewey, and Kristen Bauer van Straten Directed and written by: David Charbonier and Justin Powell    “The Boy Behind the Door” is hiding and for a very good reason. Bobby (Lonnie Chavis) and Kevin (Ezra Dewey) are playing catch together in the park, and have a quick conversation about life plans. They seem a little young for that kind of talk, but make it clear they will be friends until the end. It won’t be long before their friendship is tested because they’re about to be kidnapped.   They get taken to a home where Kevin is brought inside, but Bobby is left in the trunk to suffocate. THE DJINN REVIEW

  A mute boy is trapped in his apartment with a sinister monster when he makes a wish to fulfill his heart’s greatest desire. Starring: Ezra Dewey, Rob Brownstein, and Tevy Poe Directed and written by: David Charbonier and Justin Powell    Whether it’s a genie or “The Djinn,” they’re probably not going to grant you the wish you’re looking for. Dylan (Ezra Dewey) and his father Michael (Rob Brownstein) are getting settled into a new apartment. Apparently an apartment where an old man recently past away, and left some of his things behind. While going through the closet Dylan finds a strange book called, “Book of Shadows.” Before he can get into it his father tells him it's time for dinner. It’s here that the audience finds out Dylan has no voice, and can only wish for it to return one day.   At dinner the audience will also see the bond between this father and son. The love is there because they’re both still mourning the loss of their wife and mother respectively. As...
