GHOSTS OF WAR REVIEW

Follows five battle-hardened American soldiers assigned to hold a French Chateau near the end of World War II. Formerly occupied by the Nazi high command, this unexpected respite quickly descends into madness when they encounter a supernatural enemy far more terrifying than anything seen on the battlefield.  Starring: Brenton Thwaites, Theo Rossi, and Kyle Gallner Directed and written by: Eric Bress   War in itself is true horror. Purposely trying to kill others with knives, guns, grenades, and even bombs screams horror. It’s tough being there, and maybe tougher for those lucky enough to return. OCULUS REVIEW

A woman tries to exonerate her brother, who was convicted of murder, by proving that the crime was committed by a supernatural phenomenon. Starring: Karen Gillian, Brenton Thwaites, and Katee Sackhoff Directed by: Mike Flanagan Written by: Mike Flanagan, and Jeff Howard Mirror mirror on the wall, is "Oculus" any good at all? Well the first thing you need to know is that it constantly flashes back and forth to Kaylie (Karen Gillian) and Tim’s (Brenton Thwaites) childhood, and present day. It might be a bit much for some, but seems to be effective for what they are trying to accomplish. They use it to set up the story, and later get in some scares.   Speaking of scares, there aren't many jump out of your seat moments. However there is one moment that might get those eating popcorn to double check what they are putting in their mouth. While short on scares, the ghosts look pretty freaky with their glowing eyes.   After putting up with the flash...
