All Dressed Up- Christmas Couple

Hi everyone!!

This is my last Christmas card of the year! I was really pleased to have been asked to Guest Design for All Dressed Up showcasing an image from the latest release by Wendy. This is Christmas Couple....

I coloured this sweet couple with copics, added white gel pen and Stickles to their snowflakes and fussy cut. I cut a white panel and adhered a strip of paper to the bottom. I then die cut 3 snowflakes, stuck the image in the centre and layered the panel with 3d foam strips. On the front of the card base, I adhered a large piece of contrasting paper and then stuck the panel to the front of the card. I then stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of cardstock and die cut and then mounted on 3d foam pads and added to the front panel.

Don't forget to pop over to the Facebook page to see all the team inspiration.

I must apologise for the quality of the photo. iPhoto have updated their package and I haven't got to grips with it yet- why do they do that?! If it ain't broke....

Thanks for stopping by today and I'll see you soon x

All Dressed Up- Christmas Hair Do!

Hi everyone!
How are you doing? I hope you're well.

Today I have the pleasure of Guest Designing for All Dressed Up - thanks so very much for asking me. As you know I'm on a DT hiatus but when I was asked to Guest Design, I couldn't say no!!

Here is Christmas Hair Do...

I coloured with copics and added Kirarina Wink silver pen to the snowflakes and then fussy cut. I cut an aperture using Lil Inkers die into a kraft panel. I added some strips of KI Memories paper at the top and bottom of the panel and raised panel up onto 3d foam pads. I then cut a square of another sheet of KI memories paper and adhered it to the card base making sure it aligned correctly behind the aperture. I then adhered the image, die cut sentiment and die-cut holly in front of the aperture. Finished off with some Sprinkles as berries.

Here's your close up! Such a sweet image and so fab to colour!

All Dressed Up- Little Angel!

Hi everyone!!

How are you all doing? Today I've got a gorgeous All Dressed Up stamp to show you. It's Little Angel...

I coloured her with copics and added Stickles to her wings and garland. She's such a beautiful image to colour!! I didn't want to detract from her so I just added a simple die cut sentiment covered in glitter plus a recycled bit of cord!

OMG! How beautiful a stamp is she?!!

Back later in the week with some Purple Onion Stamps and LOTV... thanks for stopping by today! x

All Dressed Up- Little Skater!

Hey everyone!

Happy Friday! Today I thought I'd share another All Dressed Up stamp with you for another Christmas card- this one is Little Skater...

I coloured Little Skater with copics and cut out with a circular die. Papers are beautifully soft by Kaisercraft. I added some MFT snowflakes and a retired MFT sentiment stamp that I thought was super appropriate. I added copious amounts of Stickles and some sparkly gems plus some snow using a white gel pen.

How cute is she?! I loved colouring her hair and face- so cool to be able to get stuck into a large image!

Thought I'd enter this into the All Dressed Up Facebook challenge- theme is pink or pearls.

All Dressed Up- Warm Heart...

Hey everyone! Don't groan but it's another Christmas card from me today!

This one is by All Dressed Up and is called Warm Heart, Warm Hands...

This is such a fab design to colour as all the hard work has been done for you in the illustration! The hat just looks so realistic before you've even coloured it! Anyhoo, I coloured with copics- I made the image quite large so I worked hard with my blending. I kept it as a simple card design by cutting an aperture in some patterned paper and layering the image beneath. I raided my Project Life/scrapbooking stash for the blue tag and then made another tag myself using some paper from the same paper pad as the blue plaid. Tied together with some twine.

Thought I'd enter this into this month's All Dressed Up Challenge blog.

Just love the hat on this!

See you soon-may try and post a non-Christmas card!! x
