chesme church

located - in the middle of nowhere among the soviet buildings - in moskovsky prospekt in the south of st petersburg,

chesme church appears like a candy, on a wasteland

it was built on 1780 in honour of the battle of chesme won by the russians in 1770

definitively my favorite church among allll the churches seen !

the main reason for coming to lille was to visit la villa carvois,

designed by robert mallet-stevens in the outskirts of lille.

even though i've seen many photos of the house, i didn't expected how impressive it was

- by its size, and all the materials, the colors; and i didn't know about its story neither.
