English Country Chic House

Ecco, le Feste sono finite, si ripongono

le decorazioni e si torna piano piano alla "normalità".

Durante queste vacanze mi sono riposata,

ho curato i miei bimbi che purtroppo erano malati,

ho trascorso del tempo con la mia famiglia,

mi sono rigenerata.

 So, the Holidays are over, we have putted away 

the decorations and are slowly getting back to reality.

During these Holidays: I have rested, taken care of my

 (unfortunately) sick children, spent time with my family,

I re-charged myself.

Così, oggi riprendiamo a parlare di cosa ci piace,

come questa casa chic di campagna nel nord dell'Inghilterra.

Con quel tavolo rustico in cucina e quel tocco di shabby

nella sala da pranzo...

So today let's start again to talk about the things we like,

like this country chic house in the North of England.

Look at that rustic table in the kitchen and that

shabby chic touch in the dining room...

 E il letto con tutti questi cuscini?

Quasi come il mio che, lo ammetto, 

di cuscini è sommerso, con somma gioia del

mio gatto che ci si appisola beatamente!

And the bed with all those pillows?

Just like mine which, I confess, is almost

all covered by pillows...and this make my cat

really happy, especially when he sleeps on them!

The last Christmas Post

Ebbene sì, domani sarà l'Epifania e dovremo riporre tutte le

decorazioni natalizie e ritornare alla "normalità".

Lunedì ripartirò a postare regolarmente

dopo queste due settimane di "quasi" vacanza
