In my defense,

Here's a hilarious cat and sentiment from Tim Holtz. I have seen stamps by the same artist (I assume) from the Cat's Pajamas and Katzel Krafts. I just love this cat, He's hilarious!  TOO FUN, I have to have all of them.  The sentiment is "In my defense, I was left unsupervised."  The cat has that look that I think I would have if I got caught.  Hmmmm.

Have a wonderful day!!  This cute little doily on the card comes from Stampin' Up.  I thought it was a nice eye catcher to go with the other items.  Just 6 more days :)  WOO HOO

My Friend

Here's a quick and cute Stampin' Up card that I made at a local party some time ago.  I used one of those wheels to create my card base and then stamped that cute little tag with a stamp set.  It's one of those make a card in less than 5 minutes to show you how quick and easy it is to become a stamper.

Hope you all have a blessed Sunday and are getting ready for the upcoming week.

Wild About You

Here's a super cute Stampin' Up set that I bought from a parent of one of the kiddos in my last school.  I do so adore this cute image.  I am also using some awesome embroidered ribbon that I got not on my last trip to Turkiye but several years ago on a trip there.

I wanna fall in chocolate!

Forget Love! I wanna fall in Chocolate!  Well, I have seen some chocolate that looks so good, I might want to fall in there, lol!  But, at the end of my day, think I would actually go for the love!  My hubby is pretty darn sweet all by himself.  He may not taste as good as chocolate, but he sure can make me smile.

Going to put this into the Oozak challenge this month, it's to use pearls (the bling about the ribbon), Lace (that gorgeous lace from Turkiye) and ribbon I put between the two.  I am also using a fun embossing die cutter and a spellbinders die cutter.  Coloring with Copic makers.

Cheers, Holley

Easter Blessings

Here's a cute little easter theme stamp from Prima that I used to create a card with some gorgeous glittery papers from Paper Temptress. I really wish you could see the specks of glitter (mica) inside these papers.  I think the sheen on the red cardstock really does show, but even the yellow cardstock in the background has wonderful mica inside it as well.

The gorgeous Paper Temptress papers here are Heavenly white for the stamped image.  I then die cut my image using Nestabilities.  The base of my card is using a wonderful sparkle paper called Malermo Perle.  The color I am using on this card is called Mangue.  Just gorgeous.  Check out the paper on the website to see a sparkling photo of it.  The beautiful red cardstock is Incandescent paper. You can see the sparkle of this paper already, but when you see it in person it really shimmers, front side and back. I also used a huge punch on it in the center of the card.  This paper is called Rosso.  As you can see, you can also stamp on it very easily.

Hope this puts you in the mood to make a card for Easter!

Project Materials:  Cardstock (Paper Temptress); Stamps (Prima, Studio G);  Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk); Die Cuts (Nestabilities); Punches (Stampin' Up); Color (Copic Markers); Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue All);

Stampin' Up Henry!

So as you all may know this celebration is about reaching three years of success post brain surgery.  So happy to be hitting that mark.  The further I go, the better off I am.  I made this wonderful card using a set from Stampin' Up.  This set is called Henry Says.   I am using three different stamps from the set plus the fun paper in the background is from Stampin' Up as well as the sweet shop brads (just .99 cents on sale!!) as well as the gorgeous pink pleated ribbon  (just $1.39 also on clearance).  If you added up the stamp set the paper set, brads and ribbon you are practically at the point of getting a free Sale-a-bration set  too!!

I bought these goodies from a friend, Check out her Stampin' Up page and tell me a product you like on there when you leave your comment.  They have more stamps, die cutters and inks that I can choose from!!

Thank You Friends

Just a little thanks for my online friends who left wonderful comments the other day for my family over the loss of their mother, my Aunt Terry. I shared your comments with them by reading them to the daughters. They were very touched that people all over the world left notes and kind words for them. Aren't stampers just wonderful people?? Please continue to pray for them as this week will be very hard and the funeral is Friday.

Friends make everything bearable!

Here's a cute bear from CC Designs. I colored him up with Derwent Inktense watersoluable pencils and blended it with a blender pen. I used a cute saying from Stampin' Up to go with him.

Let us all be thankful for all our friends today. They do make life better don't they? They are the first ones we want to share our good news with and the first ones who console us when something bad happens. HUGS to all of you, especially my Internet friends. Some days I never even get to leave my house, but I still feel rich in friends who support me.

Project Materials: Cardstock (Bazzill); Ribbon (Prima); Stamps (CC Designs Bear; Saying-Stampin' Up); Ink (Memento); Color (Derwent Inktense); Buttons (Grandma's Button Bag); Border Punch (Fiskar's); Adhesive (Glue it All, Ribbon Glue, Glue Dots);

Have a Honey of a Day!

Here's a cute card from a recent Stampin' Up set. I think these little bees are so playful. The set came out this year "Just Buzzin' By."

Makes me think of my sisters, both because there are three of them and because I have a sister named "Honey." Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday planned. Keep an eye on the blog for the "Sunday Angel" card that will get posted later.

Project Materials:
Card (DCWV); Cardstock (Bazzill); Stamps (Stampin' Up); Flowers (Prima); Ink (Versafine, Colorbox Chalk); Stickles (Clear and Fruitpunch); Color (Stampin' Up Crayons); Tools (Creative Memories Circle Punch);

Just Buzzin' By

Buzz. Buzz.....it's my imitation of a bee, well Tilda's imitation anyways. Here's another perfectly flat card for my friends at the post office.

I think the actual name for this stamp is Dragonfly Tilda, but the striped shirt and cute hat just make me think of Bees instead. So I colored her up to be a little bee.

Project Materials:

Cardstock (DCWV); Corner Rounder (Creative Memories); Stamps: (Tilda-Magnolia; Bees-Stampassions; Text-Stampin' Up); Color (Derwent Inktense); Ink (Versafine; Vivid!);

Have a Honey of a Day!

Here's an adorable bear stamp from Penny Black. He's so sweet huh? I paired him with a cute saying from Stampin' up and some bee decor from Stampassions.

Since I have a sister named Honey, sayings like this always have a double meaning in our household.

Project Materials: Cardstock (card-Bazzill; Other-DCWV); Stamps (Bear-Penny Black; Saying-Stampin' Up; other-Stampassions); Flowers-(Prima); Brads (large-Basic Grey; other- Bo Bunny); Ink (Bear-Versafine; Bees-Versamark; Saying-Vivid!); Coloring (Derwent Inktense pencils, Blender- Stampin' Up);
