Bye Kiddos

Today is the last day of the school year for the kids!  WOOHOO! I know they are all excited for SUMMER BREAK!  I hope everyone, kids and teachers included have a nice summer (teachers and I will be back next week for work still, but not much, lol.)  Bye kids, huge (socially distanced) hugs because we are still in a pandemic.

Dear Today, You Look Lovely

 Happy March 1st!  That means it's time for a brand new contest on the YSBP Challenge Blog.  The sponsor this month is Hetty Clare.  I got this cute image and made a card for the contest.  you can enter any card in our ANYTHING GOES contest, but you get an extra entry for using a Hetty Clare stamp!

I can't believe my contest is over!  I already have a ton of envelopes open and ready for packing and packing and packing.  My initial priority now is to fill out the grand prize winners.

Happiness Blooms

 Sharing this adorable Bear stamp from Hetty Clare today.  Don't you love him?  I think he's just perfect for February.  I added a sentiment from the Paper Loft, "Happiness blooms from within."  I added some gorgeous Turkish lace to go on the card.  This piece I bought as a remnant, I couldn't ever find it as a whole package, I totally wish I had gotten more of it.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: Do you use die/stamp combos?  i.e. those stamp and die sets where you stamp the image and then line up the die to cut out the stamped image?  (eliminating fussy cutting).

 Here's a wonderful stamp from Hetty Clare, I just love kitties.  This one was super cute and on sale in her Etsy store. I couldn't resist.  I thought it was just perfect with some matching rose lace to go with it.  Don't you think?
