Outlawz Challenge

Yesterday the challenge got started for the week on Outlawz for the Monday Greetings.  I am using this adorable image from Di's Digi Stamps called A Bouquet of Spring. The challenge this week is to create a card with a song in mind, so I made this fun card for a birthday.  My mother in law's birthday is right around the corner!  I hope she will have the best birthday this year.

I hope you will all drop by the Outlawz Challenge and share a fun card with us. You could win an awesome prize from Di's Digi Stamps this week.  Think of a great song and create a card that makes you remember it.  I can't wait to see it.

Hugs all, Holley

Here's a cute card that I am going to put into this week's Squigglefly Challenge.  The challenge this week is to used rounded corners in different places.  As you can see on my card, I have rounded the images on my card, rounded corners on my Squigglefly image, rounded the corners on the background(yellow) and created a circular saying.  This cute girl is from Squigglefly artist Diane Carubia called Becky's Bear.

Squigglefly Challenge

Happy Monday everyone!  Yep, since it's Monday, you know it's time for this week's Squigglefly Challenge.  This week's challenge is to create a Mother's Day theme card.  I am using an adorable girl from artist Diane Carubia called Birthday Carly.  As you can see, I added a great brad with the word "MOM" right onto Birthday Carly's gift and now she's holding a mother's day present.  Perfect!
Be sure to go to the Squigglefly Challenge blog and share your Mother's Day card.  If you use an image from Squigglefly, you will be eligible for the prize.  All sorts of wonderful images can be used for a Mother's day greeting.  You can even choose a Squigglefly freebie-- I esp think that Hi Bella or Hummingbird freebie would be stunning on a Mother's Day card!

Project Materials:  Cardstock(Bazzill, Neenah);  Digi-Stamp (Squigglefly);  Ink (Colorbox Chalk);  Embossing (Crafter's Companion); DieCut (Cheery Lynn); Embellishments (All My Memories);  Brad (OTC);  Color (Copic Markers);  Adhesives (pop dots, glue all, glue dots);

Wool you be mine?

Here's a cute image that I used to make a card for this week's Squigglefly Challenge.  The challenge was to use a sentiment on your card.  Squigglefly has LOTS of images that come with sentiments as well as selling lots of sentiments that are just .99!!  This adorable image is called A Wooly Ride from artist Diane Carubia.  The saying comes from another image, a cute sheep called Sherman (click here).
Project Materials:  Cardstock (Bazzill, Neenah);  Digi Stamps (Sguigglefly);  Diecuts (Lifestyles, Memory Box);  Buttons (Jesse James, American Traditionals);  Flowers (Hobby Lobby);  Adhesives (Pop dots, glue dots, Glue All);  Color (Copic Markers);

Don't forget to leave a comment today as the month comes to an end, more drawings will be done to have lots of prizes to wrap up and give away!! Have a great day!!  Do you like the die cut I am using?  it's from Memory Box.  The question of the day is what type of die cuts do you use at home?  what types do you like?

Squigglefly Challenge

Happy Monday everyone!  You know what that means....yep, it's time for this week's Squigglefly Challenge!  This week's theme is to create a winter wonderland.  It doesn't matter if your image is winter theme or not, as long as your card has some winter theme embellishment on it.  I think my card is a good example of a non-winter image that I used for a sweet winter card.  She's called Big Sister Babs by artist Diane Carubia.  She's not a winter specific stamp, but I made her winter-y for this card and challenge.
Drop by the Squigglefly Challenge Blog and see what all of the Holley Hobbyists created to share with you.  You can use any image from the freebies to even play along and drop by the store to get an image and join in. The winner this week will get a free image from Squigglefly.

Don't forget to leave a comment today, we're still have blog candy here and new winner's are picked up until Dec 12th.

Project Materials:  Cardstock (Paper Company, Neenah, Hobby Lobby);  Image (Squigglefly);  Ink (Colorbox Chalk);  Buttons (Grandma's Button Bag); Bling (Hobby Lobby);  Die Cut (Spellbinders Nestabilities); Lace (JoAnns);  Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue All, Ribbon Glue, Glue Dots);  Color (Copic Markers);

Too adorable

Here's the cutest little girl and her bunny!  I made this card for the Squigglefly Challenge this week.  This image is called Dragonfly Gaze by artist Diane Carubia .  The challenge on the blog this week is called Paper Piercing.  As opposed to the piecing that was just a couple weeks ago, piercing involves using a sharp needle to pierce the paper in a decorative manner.  Check out the amazing samples the design team made on the Challenge Blog.
Project Materials: Cardstock (Bazzill, DCWV, Neenah);  Image (Squigglefly);  Ribbon (K&Co);  Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue All, Ribbon Glue);  Die Cuts (Spellbinders Nestabilites);  Color (Copic Markers);

Angel Baby

So after being the one who created the Challenge on Squigglefly yesterday, I decided I just had to make a card to add to participate, so here's my entry into this week's contest. This adorable Digi-stamp is from Squigglefly artist Diane Carubia called Angel Baby Girl.
This card is also being featured on the Paper Temptress blog today using their stunning papers including the Heavenly White that I printed the image on. The wonderful blue is called Blu Raspberry. The brown is a wonderful textured ruche called Cocoa Crepe. The "printed" paper (per the challenge requirements) is this luxurios white shimmery paper in the background which has a stunning texture and will absorb ink and show any color beautifully, it also is great for stamping on. However, I just had a handful a small slivers of it, which was PERFECT for this card, so I whipped out my punch and used it here. (This is why I always save those edges of that special paper!). That paper is called, Vintage Silver Lustre. There's a coupon code you can use in the right hand column with a link to the Paper Temptress store!

Hope this card inspires you to create something fun for the Squigglefly Challenge this week. You can check out their store for a freebie and play in this week's contest.
