Well, what can I say? This time of year is completely nutty for me and my business. On top of that, I'm still without my craft studio & half my house is under renovations! Needless to say, my Blog has been neglected, and probably will be until the end of the year unfortunately.
The good news is that I have a colour challenge to share with you today from Sunday Stamps!
I had a wee bit of trouble with this colour challenge. Perfect Plum is not a colour I use often, but I think I made it work. I inked up my Age Awaremenss stamp set for the first time with this card. It's such a fun & versatile set.
Stampin' Up!'s Photopolymer stamps sets are AMAZING!! If you haven't used them yet, you have to give them a try. The best I've ever used or seen. They're at a great price-point and you can see exactly where you're stamping every single time. :)
Anyway, hope you'll challenge yourself and join us over at Sunday Stamps this round. Check out the other DT members too because they rocked this one!
Until next time, stay crafty!
Steph

Sketch Saturdays - Numero Uno!
Yay! My first post for my weekly segment I'm calling Sketch Saturdays. Every Saturday I'll be posting a project based on a sketch, found or created by me. Today's sketch was found on Pinterest. The link lead me to Basic Grey. Here's the sketch...
…and here's my design:
My design is loosely based on the sketch, but you can still see it, even though I omitted a couple of things. :) When I looked at the sketch, I immediately saw a flower pot with flowers bursting out of it, so that's what I created. The pot was easy. And so were the flowers for that matter, thanks to the Flower Shop stamp set and coordinating Pansy Punch!
I've been dying to play along at Colour Me…! and so I'm thrilled to be entering this into the challenge this week. It's a two-colour challenge - Melon Mambo & Marina Mist. My neutral colour is Early Espresso. Since there were only two main colours to work with, I stamped off the flower image three times to get varying shades of Melon Mambo. This, along with curling the petals & popping up the flowers at different heights, gave a lot of dimension to the card.
Until next time, stay crafty!

A Week Late @ Sunday Stamps!
I know, I know, I'm a week late posting my Sunday Stamps design! When I didn't get it posted last Sunday and next thing I knew it was Wednesday, I figured I would just wait until the following Sunday. Hope you don't mind. :)
I kept my card super simple. Using the Note Cards & Envelopes, I simply stamped one of the pansy's from Flower Shop, popping the middle one up with Dimensionals. I stamped the image again inside and on the envelope too.
I'm sure you already have, but if not, please stop by to see what the rest of the Design Team has created, leave them some love & hope you'll play along with us! There's still one week to play...
Until next time, stay crafty!
