Rose Garden Picket Fence Thank You - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I'm dropping by to share a fun card using some dies from Simon Says Stamp - and the absolutely PERFECT pattern paper! Ever have those moments when something just works out perfectly?

I started off by cutting and assembling the Garden Fence die. I love the way this die works, and the fun texture you get on the pickets for the fence! I used white for the front pieces, Fog cardstock for the base layer, then cut an extra base layer from Black cardstock to offset behind to add a little extra dimension. The background pattern paper is from Simple Stories Color Me Happy paper pad - it was so bright and fun! I trimmed it down, then added a super thin mat of black cardstock behind it. I folded some vellum over the top in a diagonal, and folded it behind, adhering it with sturdy tape. This gave me a place to add my sentiment without it being lost in the busy pattern paper background. The sentiment is Nuvelli Script Thank You, but twice from white and layered together, and once from black to offset for a slight shadow effect. I adhered the fence with foam strips, then tucked in some florals in perfectly coordinated colors. I used Wildflower Bucket to cut the greenery from Green Apple cardstock, then cut the flowers from Country Basket Bouquet using Cotton Candy and Doll Pink cardstock. Finishing touch was some white twine tied across the top, and a few Bubblegum gems in the centers of the flowers and the bow! Here is a closer look at all the fun details that bring this card together:

Dreamy Thinking of You - Simon Says Stamp In My Heart Release

Good morning! I've got another card to share using the In My Heart Release from Simon Says Stamp! I used some items that I had leftover from THIS card, and some similar colors - I don't think there is anything lovelier than soft dreamy peachy pink tones, do you?

I started off by embossing some new Seashell cardstock with Butterfly Escapade embossing folder. I then swiped some clear embossing ink over the top of it, and sprinkled with some clear embossing powder. This gives a tiny bit of neutral shine, and makes those butterflies just pop a bit! Next, I die cut one of the Scalloped Arches dies from white cardstock, and then used the inside space of the Scalloped Arches Frames from the other card (you can see it HERE) from Altenew glitter cardstock. I stamped the large floral from Wild Rose on vellum and heat embossed in white, then trimmed in half to overlap the center scallop frames. Added a sentiment from Friendship XL EZ Strips die cut with XL EZ Strips Banners die, and added a secondary sentiment from the Wild Rose set that the florals came from. Here is a closer look at the finished card:

Blooming Wreath - Simon Says Stamp In My Heart Release

Good morning! I'm stopping by with another card using the NEW Simon Says Stamp In My Heart Release! I'm using another of the new embossing folders, a few different dies, and more of that yummy new colored cardstock!

I started off by using the new Moonflower cardstock and embossing it with the new Blooming Wreath embossing folder. I used the debossed side of the panel, and swiped my White Pigment ink over the top to lighten the outside portion a bit extra. Then I blended just a touch of Lilac ink into the flowers in the wreath to make them pop a bit extra. I added the Thank You Sentiment die, cut from glitter cardstock and vellum for the shadow layer, and added a secondary sentiment from Thanks, Mom. The butterfly is from Butterfly Escapade, die cut from the new Seashell cardstock and embossed, then with the center cut from Honey Gold cardstock. I then went crazy with Iridescent Clear Drops to embellish the flowers - I love all that sparkle! Here is a closer look at the finished card:

Holding You in my Heart - Simon Says Stamp In My Heart Release

Good morning! Dropping by today with another card featuring the BRAND NEW Simon Says Stamp In My Heart Release! I've used one of those lovely new cardstock colors again, and paired it with several other new items from the release to create a shaker card!

I started off with one of my favorites of the new cardstock colors - Seashell. It's such a soft and pretty pastel tone! I embossed it with the new Apple Blossoms embossing folder to create some texture inside my shaker window. I created my shaker window by die cutting another favorite from the release - Scalloped Arches Frames from a panel of white cardstock. I then cut the same frame from Altenew glitter cardstock to inset to add the frame around my shaker. I filled my shaker with the new Cream Puff Embellishment mix. I heat embossed a flower from the Wild Rose stamp set in white on vellum for a lacy flower to add to the front, and tucked it behind a sentiment from Friendship XL EZ Strips sentiment strips that I cut with XL EZ Strips Banner die. I added a secondary sentiment from Wild Rose stamp set to finish this card off! Here is a closer look:

Leaf Shaker Birthday Card - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Today I have a light, bright, and airy card to share! I used a variety of supplies from Simon Says Stamp, and I love the pastel colors on this card! Not to mention, shakers never get old, am I right?!?!

This card started when I came across the Pale Green embellishment mix in my stash, and suddenly wanted to create a shaker with it! I thought it was a perfect fit for a shaker card, so I pulled out the Rose Branch die that I hadn't had a chance to put to use yet and cut a window in a panel of white cardstock. I saved that piece to use later (stay tuned!), and then created my shaker element, filling it with that mix. For the sentiment, I pulled out the Handwritten Happy Birthday die, and cut it from Honey Gold cardstock and vellum for the shadow layer. I adhered that together with tiny dots of liquid glue, then adhered it to the card with the same. Finished off with that secondary sentiment from EZ Strips Birthday sentiment strips, cut with the EZ Strips Banners die, and then a tiny bow created with Lawn Fawn white twine! Here are more photos of this fun shaker card:

Woodland Scene Card Set - Simon Says Stamp

Hello! Today I've got a set of cards that feature an adorable newer stamp set from Simon Says Stamp - paired up with some super fun pattern papers and other supplies to create some sweet scene cards!

I was organizing my space, and noticed I still had lots of Winter Forest pattern paper from a recent Card Kit - and had wanted to use some of these for some cute scenes. I also hadn't used the new Sweet Friendship set much yet, so I thought they would be a perfect pairing! I love how they turned out! I first chose one of the 6x6 papers with 4 little mini scenes on it, and cut it into the 4 separate pieces. I also die cut a Basic Shapes Square from Navy cardstock to frame each of them. I stamped and heat embossed each of the images from Sweet Friendship in white on vellum, and die cut with the coordinating dies. Doing the images this way made sure that they didn't cover any of the scene, I didn't need to color the images, and it gave a sweet ethereal effect as well! I adhered those with a few tiny dots of liquid adhesive behind thicker areas of the heat embossing, then die cut several hearts from Tons of Hearts Frames die set from Schoolhouse Red cardstock, using just the hearts in the center and saving the frames for another project. I popped those up on foam adhesive scattered around each scene, placed the scenes on white cardbases with foam adhesive, and then stamped sentiments from Inside Greetings 1 stamp set. Here is a closer look at each card, and more photos showing the set all together:

Sending Thanks - Tim Holtz January coordinating die release

Good morning! I'm back with another card that features some of the new dies that Simon Says Stamp released last week to coordinate with previously released Tim Holtz stamp sets! Today's card features a repeat stamped and die cut scene!

For this card, I focused on the Correspondence set, and selected the airplane and postage label. I stamped the airplane multiple times in Cadette ink and die cut with the coordinating die, then skipped stamping, but die cut the postage label several times, and ink blended with Honey ink in varying corners. This shows off the embossed texture as well as the die cutting on this image! I created a card base with Gina K Blue Sky cardstock, then used Cascading Hearts embossing folder on a panel of white cardstock as the base for my scene. I die cut several clouds from Birthday Blitz die set using vellum for a soft effect, and arranged those on the white embossed panel, trimming off any overhang. I adhered those with tiny lines of liquid adhesive, then layered over the postage labels and planes with thin foam adhesive. Finished off with one of the sentiment labels popped up on foam adhesive, and a hefty sprinkle of Dazzling Gems in Sunbeam for some extra sparkle! Here is a closer look at this finished card:
