Spring Framed Bunny Art - Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Moments Release
I started off by stamping the adorable images from Special Friend on watercolor paper, and coloring in with soft watercolors. I love the vintage storybook feel that these images give me! Once they dried, I die cut them all out and set aside. I pulled out a Ranger Mini Framed Panel and added some color and texture to it by using a Vintage Photo distress ink cube to swipe directly on the edges of the frame, and then spritzed well with Fossilized Amber spritz which has a lovely bit of sparkle to it. For the background, I used Ivory cardstock for the base, then layered over several pieces of Desert Storm cardstock with a torn edge. I then adhered it inside the framed panel, and then started tucking my images into the scene. I stamped a tiny bee and it's little trail onto the background, and added the sentiment at the top. I embellished with a few colors of the adorable new Easter Eggs embellishment mix, some sparkly Nuvo Blizzard glitter drops on parts of the scene, and then added accents here and there with a white gel pen! Here is a closer look at this fun framed piece of art:

Leaf Shaker Birthday Card - Simon Says Stamp
Good morning! Today I have a light, bright, and airy card to share! I used a variety of supplies from Simon Says Stamp, and I love the pastel colors on this card! Not to mention, shakers never get old, am I right?!?!
This card started when I came across the Pale Green embellishment mix in my stash, and suddenly wanted to create a shaker with it! I thought it was a perfect fit for a shaker card, so I pulled out the Rose Branch die that I hadn't had a chance to put to use yet and cut a window in a panel of white cardstock. I saved that piece to use later (stay tuned!), and then created my shaker element, filling it with that mix. For the sentiment, I pulled out the Handwritten Happy Birthday die, and cut it from Honey Gold cardstock and vellum for the shadow layer. I adhered that together with tiny dots of liquid glue, then adhered it to the card with the same. Finished off with that secondary sentiment from EZ Strips Birthday sentiment strips, cut with the EZ Strips Banners die, and then a tiny bow created with Lawn Fawn white twine! Here are more photos of this fun shaker card:

Paper Hug Friend - Simon Says Stamp Heart to Heart Release
Good morning! I'm back today with a fun card using LOTS of new items from the Heart to Heart Release from Simon Says Stamp! This card mixed together some techniques I haven't tried before, and the result is definitely out of my normal card type, but I'm very happy with how it turned out! Very layered and textures, and I love the color scheme!
I started off by embossing the new Heart Wreath embossing folder on some Concord and 9th cardstock. I then used the reverse or debossed side of that panel, and swiped a white pigment ink pad across the surface. It left a fun texture on the flat areas, and left the debossed areas darker with the color of the cardstock! To add some more texture, I used the text stamp image from Heart Suite with Salmon ink to stamp in a few areas over the top. LOVE that extra touch! Next, I stamped and white heat embossed the floral image from the new Loving You Bouquet on vellum, and die cut with the coordinating dies, then trimmed that image in half (always scary, but worth it, I promise!). I die cut a couple of the Basic Hearts from white cardstock, then stamped that same text on part of the smaller one but in Shell ink, and blended a bit of the Shell and Salmon inks around the outer edges of each heart. I also stamped and die cut the larger sentiment from Heart Suite, and added a secondary sentiment from EZ Strips Reverse Love sentiment strips. A few Ballet Slipper embellishments finish this card off! Here are several more photos showing off all the fun details:
