Masculine Birthday Trio - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I'm back today (as promised!) with a second set of masculine birthday cards, using many of the same supplies from Simon Says Stamp. You may recognize this pattern paper? Yep - these are the panels that I cut the frames out of for yesterday's cards! I always love not wasting anything, and these were no exception. Instead of just cutting from a corner of the pieces of pattern paper, I cut from panels so that I could use the windows I created for more cards!

The pattern paper is from the same Carta Bella Cowboys and Cowgirl paper pads from yesterday, and the window was cut with Square Shaker die. I stamped some images and sentiments from the older Best Year yet stamp set on my cardbases behind the windows first, then adhered those framed panels with foam adhesive over the top. I wrapped several wraps of Jute Twine around each card, and tied in a bow - I thought about just tying a knot to make them even more simple and masculine, but decided a bow was okay! :) Haha! Finally, I added a few Dazzling Gold gems - again, pushing the masculine a bit, but I couldn't resist! I guess if you put some money inside, is any guy really going to care?!? Here is a closer look at this set of cards:

Layered Birthday Florals - Simon Says Stamp March 2026 Card Kit

Hello! I'm dropping by to share my first card using the newest March 2026 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Watercolor BouquetThis month's kit is an explosion of spring color and flowers! The included stamp set by the same name has some beautiful solid floral and greenery elements, perfect for all kinds of watercolor techniques. There are some tags, foam squares, sentiment strips, ink cubes, and that's all not to mention the watercolor paper, envelopes, and more! And, there are  some great add on items available that coordinate wonderfully with this kit, and are live in the store now as well!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

For this card, I stamped a bunch of the florals and greenery from the Watercolor Bouquet with the included ink cubes in the kit. The colors are so bright and fun! I used my MISTI to stamp each image, stamping first in my main color, then slightly inking around the edges in a deeper color, blending the lines with a blending brush, and restamping over the top. This gave a fun faux watercolor effect! I used the Fog cardbase in the kit, as well as one of the tags, and arranged my florals on the side. I also put one of the add on items to use - Basic Brushstroke Greetings - for the sentiment. I tied a bit of the Jute String at the top of the tag, and embellished with a few Clear Dazzling Gems to finish this card off! Here is a closer look at all the fun details on this card:

Cutest Little Corgi - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I recently received an order of some various supplies from Simon Says Stamp - one of which was this ADORABLE little Corgi die that I couldn't wait to play with! Are they not the CUTEST dogs ever?!?

First off, I die cut the adorable Lil Critters Corgi from Gina K Butterscotch cardstock, Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust glitter cardstock, and Slate Gray (for the eyes and nose). I pieced it together, using a bit of tape on the backside to hold it all together. For the top detail on the card, I used the Detail Pincushion plate die on white cardstock, trimmed it down a bit, and backed it with some Gina K Blue Sky cardstock, leaving a bit extra poking out of the border. I wrapped a bit of May Arts Ivory twine around and tied in a bow, added sentiments from an older (and hilarious!) set called Inside and Out Sayings, and attached the cute pup with foam adhesive! Here are more photos of this finished card:

Vintage Sending Love - Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my another card using the newest February 2025 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Distressed Vintage Notes! This month's kit has a lovely vintage love theme that I adore! The included stamp set by the same name features some lovely images and sentiments (there is also a coordinating die for this set available separately HERE). There is a fun embossing folderTim Holtz ephemera, ink pad and collage matte medium...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the new Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

For today's card, I featured the stamp set a little more, but still embellished a bit with the ephemera in the kit! I used a few images from the stamp set, and stamped them on the watercolor paper. I used Cocoa ink (music notes), Gingerbread ink (large floral), and Cookie (butterfly), then misted a bit with water so the colors and images softened a bit to give a watercolor effect. I stamped the sentiment in black ink after those images and the paper were dry. So easy, and such a fun technique! I slightly trimmed that panel so it would fit on one of the Schoolhouse Red cardbases in the kit, added a few ephemera pieces popped up on foam, then wrapped some twine around before adhering it down. Finished off with a few Dazzling Gems in gold for added sparkle! Here are some more photos of this card:

Dreamy Background Notecards - Pinkfresh Studio Craft Along Card

Last night was the final Craft Along of 2024, a fun small mini event we started doing last year. We don't have any dates set for next year, and are choosing to focus for now on enjoying the holidays - but I wanted to stop in and share the cards we created last night. I really love how they turned out!

Since this was part of that event, I'm not going to share any details of how I created it - but I wanted to share some photos, and I've included a supply list at the bottom as well. Looking forward to more crafty adventures next year!

Just to say Hello - Pinkfresh and SB dot com Exclusive

Good morning! Dropping by to share a card using some Pinkfresh Studio supplies - including the special new Simply Sentiments stamp set that was is one of the current promotions at Scrapbook.com - and is available as a free gift with any purchase for the next couple of days, or while supplies last! You can click HERE for more details! There are also some other promos going on - you can check all those out HERE

I paired one of the fun sentiments with some other supplies from Pinkfresh Studio. I used the Dotted Chevrons coverplate die to create some texture on my white cardbase. Since it doesn't have outer cut lines, I was able to position it so that it only added texture to the top two thirds of the cardbase, leaving the bottom free to stamp my sentiment, and wrapping around some Ivory jute twine and tying in a bow. The florals were hot foiled using the Beautiful Day set, and colored in with the coordinating layering stencils. I die cut with the coordinating dies, then tucked them around a frame cut with Stitched Scallop Rectangles cut from Aqua glitter cardstock. Finished off with my sentiment, stamped in Detail Black, and embellishing with a few Ice Clear drops. Here are more photos of this finished card:
