Felt Toaster Pastry card - Simon Says Stamp Heart to Heart Release

Good morning! I've got another card to share today using the newest Heart to Heart Release from Simon Says Stamp! I tell you what - cutting dies with felt is SOOO much fun! I mean, a felt toaster pastry?!? Is there anything cuter?!? Also, did you know that putting glitter drops on felt is amazing as well?

I had recently picked up some Benzie Designs Felt in the Be Mine color pack, and really wanted to put it to use on something. I spotted the Toaster Pastry die, and thought it was perfect for it! I'm going to date myself a bit, but does anyone else remember flannel graph stories when you were a kid? Yeah, before I glued it together, I was almost tempted to leave the pieces separate to use that way - haha! I used some Altenew glitter cardstock to cut the longer squiggly lines, and tucked those behind the toaster pastry that I adhered at an angle, then trimmed all the extra overhanging pieces off. I used some Nuvo Glitter drops on the hearts and squiggle of frosting on the toaster pastry for extra sparkly fun! I added a sentiment from Make My Heart Flutter stamp set, a sprinkle of Trinity Clear Twinkle Rhinestones, rounded off one corner, and mounted the panel on a cardbase created with Seafoam cardstock! Here is a closer look at the finished project:

Winter Embroidery Hoop Ornament - Simon Says Stamp DieCember 2025 Release

Good morning! I'm dropping by with another fun project using the BRAND NEW and HUGE DieCember Release from Simon Says Stamp that just released! This is a fun hanging ornament, that is a mix of lots of different fun textures, from wood, to felt, to glitter cardstock - all so fun!

I pulled out my pack of Spellbinders Embroidery Hoop frames that I had picked up recently and wanted to put to use - it seemed perfect for this project, and was the perfect base! I first cut a circle with Basic Circles of Trend Collection Spellbinders Felt to back the hoop. Then I set about die cutting several new dies to create the decorations. I used Flourish Bear, cut from white glitter cardstock, and then added a little scarf for him from Snuggle Snowman, cut from more of the same felt to keep that texture tied in. The snowflakes were cut from some of the Card Front 2 pack using Splendid Snowflakes die, with a Mandarin Dazzling Gem in the center of each one. Sentiment was cut from Honey Gold and white cardstock using Sending Warm Hugs die, and then I tied on some Faux Silk white ribbon to give it a way to hang up! Here are more photos of this finished project:

Felt Stitched Chicken - Spellbinders

Hello! Dropping by with something a little different today! I recently got some fun dies designed  from Spellbinders to play with, and the timing couldn't have been better, since I also had recently ordered a pack of felt to play with!

The die I used was called Felt Cozy Cluck - and I used the Trend Collection of felt - love these warm colors! I stitched it together with white embroidery floss using a mix of two different stitches, and added a bit of polyester stuffing I happened to have on hand from many years ago. This made it a cute little plushy! I glued the beak on, and added wiggly eyes for fun as well. Finished off with a wrap of Ivory jute string, and added a bit of glue to hold the bow in place. Here is a closer look at this cute little chicken:

Pretty Pink Posh and Glue Dots Collab Hop

A very big crafty hello! Welcome to Day 2 of our very special blog hop collaboration with Pretty Pink Posh and Glue Dots Adhesives

This is Day 2 of a fun blog hop with PRIZES from both companies up for grabs, along with inspiration and videos. The talented crafters along the hop will be bringing you an array of projects, coloring inspiration, and a variety of ways to have fun with both Pretty Pink Posh and Glue Dots collectively!

The entire list of stops along the blog hop are listed at the bottom of this post - as well as info on the prizes up for grabs, so keep reading!

For my cards, I pulled out some felt and my Pretty Pink Posh Fall Tags Dies - and put that super sturdy adhesive to good use!

I used some felt from my stash, and was just crazy enough to pull out my needle and thread and hand stitch around each leaf! I used the cuts from the dies as a guide - because even though they didn't show up well alone on the felt, they still cut through nice and clean and clear.

Once each one was stitched, I die cut a Stitched Diamond, gathered them into a cluster, and then used the XL Glue Dots sheets to attach them down. Worked like a dream!

I also die cut a rectangle from Stitched Notes Dies, then used the Glue Dots Stitch Glue Squares tape runner to attach the layers all together.

I bundled some twine through the holes at the bottoms of the tags, and tied in a pretty bow, and stamped a sentiment from Fall Scene at the bottom of each.

Finished off with a sprinkling of jewels - Buttercream on the card with brighter spring colored leaves, and Ivory on the more traditional fall colored one.

Bears and Hearts

Good morning! I'm sharing another couple of cards I made with a fun die from Simon Says Stamp One of a Kind Release, the adorable Picture Bear Wafer Dies, again cut from felt! {{{I used these same dies with different colors of felt in THIS post HERE}}}

This time I cut the bears out of two shades of brown felt, and again swapped out the pieces in reverse.

I added a die cut heart using Wonky Stitched Hearts, and added a sentiment from Loving Heart to each one.

Added some fun pattern paper die cut with Wonky Rectangles and a bit of jute twine to finish these off!

Many Prayers - Cards with Felt

Good morning! I thought I would take a few minutes to write up the blog post on these - I shared a sneak peek of them on a post I published last night comparing the new Simon Says Stamp Felt with their card stock and ink (click HERE to view that post) - these cards are where I put all the hard work of finding matches to good use - and it was so worth it! Hopefully it is helpful for you too!

I made a total of 6 cards in 3 different color combos, and with a slightly different sentiment combination - but all using the same exclusive Simon Says Stamp/Hero Arts Prayers Stamps and Die set. I love all the beautiful combinations of sentiments from this little stamp sets and had fun combining them. So first up - the yellow cards:

I die cut several little flower/button bits, and some leaves - I actually only planned on making one card of each color, but I had enough die cut felt pieces to put together a second one of each. Since I had it all laying on my desk, I figured it made good sense to spend the little extra bit of time to make double the amount of cards!

I stitched the larger flower together with white twine, then added it to the centers of the smaller flowers as well.

Then there is the pink duo:

I die cut the bottom border using two different sizes of the dies in Simon Says Stamps Wavy Scallop Stitches - I liked the scale of the larger scallops with the larger flowers, and the smaller scallops with the tiny flowers!

I adhered all the felt pieces down with Ranger Multi Medium Matte adhesive - it seemed to do a fabulous job of holding everything in place!

And then there is the purple combination:

Once I had the felt and sentiment done, I added a generous sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh sequins in varying colors - love the sparkle they add!

Finished off by adhering the front panel with foam over the colored card stock cardbases.

And linking to a couple challenges - first up, the purple cards fit perfectly with the current Sparkle and Shine Challenge:
