Rainy Day Window Watching with Julie

Julie: Sunday was a rainy day. Still I found something to watch 

from the kitchen window.

He is quite entertaining to watch.

Who, you ask? 

Earl, that's who.

If you look closely, you can see the rain.

It does not bother him. He will come out in any

weather to get some tasty seeds. 

Mum says it would be nice if I showed you  my face.

I really don't think you forgot what I look like ,

but I will humour mum.

Rainy Monday with Julie

Julie: It's pretty rainy here today.

It was rainy all day Sunday too, and we have had

some pretty gusty winds. It's good to be indoors.

However, there is not much to see outside, so I thought 

I would sit here and have a bath.

I do pause once in a while to check on the outdoors.

Nothing happening, so I continue my bath.

Well, I did my face and ears. That will do for now.

Now what do I do?

Guess it's nap time.

Midnight Monday with Julie

JJ: Oh boy! I am on the porch  but I can't see anything

because it is dark.

  Julie: JJ come up here and check this out.

What is it Julie?

Mom moved the carpet  and this spot is a bit wet.

The rain came in through the window.

Yeah, you're right Julie. It did rain lots today and it was windy!

Guess that's why Mom did not want us on the porch much

today. Don't worry, it will be sunny on Monday and

all this will be dry again.
