Porch Time with Julie

Julie: There is nothing better than spending time

on the porch in the morning.There is plenty of

sun, but it is not too hot yet!

I love sitting here.

Oh,wait, I hear a commotion outside!

It's some squirrels and they are chasing one another!

OH!! It looks like they are coming up to the door!!

I gotta check this out!!

Mum's note: The squirrels did come up on the front

porch deck, but kept on going toward the side  of

the house. 

I am pretty sure Julie would have loved to chase them.

but she does not go outside.

Julie's Weekend Around the House

Julie:Saturday was overcast and rainy.

Sometimes the rain was heavy.

It was a good day for snoozing.

Sunday was sunny! It was a grand day for enjoying 

sunshine on my panther furs.

My big brother JJ loved it too.

Oh sunshine, no wonder cats and humans worship you!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

The porch was pretty nice too.

It always is a great place to hang out.

Oh yes, I love the porch !

But!!!!

Can you believe the nerve of this guy?!!

He broke into the porch and wanted to know 

if he could have seeds! Can you imagine?

Mum said she put seeds outdoors and he had to go outside for them.

I was upset the she did not let me help him out.

I cannot imagine why!

Squirrels!!!!!

Oh,oh,oh! Look at that! Oh!

Oh that darn glass! I would love to get outside!

Look at the squirrel in my yard!

He is being silly hanging off the bird feeder!

Look! There are more of them!

Oh boy I counted 4!

Squirrel TV is really good today!

All that watching made me sleepy.

Time for a nap in the warm sunbeams.

Do you see how shiny the snow is?

When the snow melts then freezes, it gets icy on top.

The squirrels could slide on the icy snow.

They use their sharp claws to hold on,heehee.

Midnight Monday with Julie

Julie: Oh what a super weekend we had! It was sunny

and I got to spend lots of time on the porch. It was warm.

I looked out the windows and saw all kinds of critters. 

Most of them were birds.

However I did see some squirrels.

They are young and hang out below the window  and 

in the big tree near the porch.

They spend a lot of time chattering and chasing each other.

Oh I want so much to get out there and play chase with them.

I think I would be pretty good at that too!

Julie: Hey JJ, come and see this !!

Squirrel TV is on !

JJ: Oh yeah Julie, this is great.

That squirrel is so close too !

He is only a little one.

Do you think that squirrel looks kinda scared ?

Squirrel: YIKES ! Cats!!!!
