Monday on the Porch with Julie

Julie:  Hi friends.As you can see I am on the porch.

It's my favourite place and today it is even more fun

because mum is home.

It is Natal Day and we are celebrating our city's birthday.

Gee, if we're going to celebrate, I better have a bath!

I know mum has told you about me over grooming,

but really, it is getting better.

Mum said she can see new fur growing.

Really! The fur is growing again!
There is no need to go to the Vet!

I will leave my belly alone.

Hey mum! Can we celebrate Natal Day with some treats?

Today, we are celebrating the 123rd birthday

of  our city of Halifax.

Julie: Oh boy!

This box is great for rubbing my cheeks.

Feels better.

Now, time to play on the floor!

Oh yeah, this is the life!

I love my porch.

Why yes, I am making happy paws!

I am a happy cat.

Julie's Purrfect Weekend

Julie: I love sitting in the sunshine and this

cup is a purrfect place to do just that.

I also like looking out of windows.

I even do posing for mum.

As you know, the porch is my fave place.

Especially when it is sunny.

I like to hang out with toys too.

This toy(which came from the gang at 15 and meowing)

still smells pretty good too!

T think I will have a snooze with it and enjoy the sunshine.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

Midnight Monday with Julie

Julie: This box is a great place to sit, but I need to

stretch out .

The sun is making me sleepy.

I need to find a better spot.

I'll just jump off the shelf.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!
This feels like a good spot.

I can stretch out if I want.

Oh yes!

This spot is purrfect!

Julie: What a nice weekend it was. Warm and sunny.

Naturally, I spent time on the porch watching the 

great outdoors.. Did not see much, just the usual

birds,and squirrels.

I did enjoy a nice relaxing time on the porch couch.

I also enjoyed a nice warm bath.

Yup, it was a purrfect weekend !

Monday Musings with Julie

Julie: Well, mum's vacation is over.

I am a little sad as I love having mum around

a lot during the day.

However we did have lots of fun!

We had lots of porch time as well as scritches,treats

and cuddles!

As you can see, I god lots of porch time.

We only had one day that was really rainy and one that was a

 little bit of rain.

That only affected mum though.

Because we had lots of sunshine, I got to lay in the window.

I love the sun on my panther furs.

It feels so warm. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Now mum is back to work, but guess what?
Next weekend is Thanksgiving!

At least for we Canadian cats.

That means an extra mum day!

WooHoo!

Life is good!
