Monday Musings with Julie

Julie: I have really been enjoying this weekend with mum.
She has and extra day at home with me as today is a holiday.
I love to be where ever she is.I am always watching her too.

I like to watch mum in the kitchen.
You never know when treats might appear.
Well, a cat can hope right?

On Saturday, we had lots of sun as you can see from this picture.
There was a squirrel on this branch, but he moved before
mum got his picture.

Sunday, we had some snow. Not a lot, about 10cm (4in)

Earl the Squirrel was eating seeds mum put out.

These are his footprints in the snow.

This is what our yard looks like.

It well not last. Today it is sunny and warmer and tomorrow
it is going to rain again.
Our very strange,conflicted Winter continues!

Relishing a Good Weekend with Julie

Julie: As you can see, I was really enjoying myself this past
weekend. It was cloudy and a bit cool Saturday, but Sunday
was great! The sun was shining and it heated up the porch!
My big brother JJ also enjoyed the warmth of the porch.

It was so cozy, I got to sun my belly.
Yes I know I lick my tummy way too much, but
I cannot help myself.
I do love tummy rubs though, so feel free to come and give me one.

I am so happy, I have to rub my face.
This makes mum laugh for some reason.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Like as a cat is mighty good!

We do have snow, but not a lot(20 cm or 8 inches).
Mum has made paths to the bird feeders.
As you can see, they enjoy the sunflower seeds.

Cold Mornings and Frosty Windows with Julie

Julie: Lick,lick lick...

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Oh Hi! I'm a little bit unsure of what to do at the moment.
I am not going on the porch today.
Mom said it is too cold.

I could look out the window, but as you can see  these
old windows tend to get frosted up in  the cold weather.

What's a cat to do?
Maybe later I can watch the snow falling.
Mum said we are getting snow today!
She will have a fun time getting home.
Gee, I hope she will not be late for supper!

Yesterday, mum took this picture early in the morning.
The sun was still rising  and you can see that we already
had s little bit of snow.

Bet there will be more snow tomorrow!
