Julie: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!

Oh HI!

I was in  my bed having a great dream.

I dreamt that it was warm and sunny,but when I woke up

that was not the case.

It was cloudy and cool with some wind and a threat of rain.

In spite of that I went on the porch with my big brother JJ.

I hopped up to the window shelf.

Mum had left a towel there after she mopped up

a spill on the shelf.

Really mum!

I looked outside for a while. There were birds and squirrels

and even a chipmunk.

All in all a pretty good day on the porch.

I guess it is better than sleeping the day away.

Midnight Monday with Julie

Julie: Well, as you can see, I did spend some time on the porch.

We did have sunshine, but it was still pretty cold.

I stayed out for a while.

I did have some company. My big brother JJ.

We enjoyed the sun for a while, but then it got cloudy.

We both went inside,

I went under the credenza and lay next to the floor vent.

Mum had the heat on and it was super cozy under there.

Georgia was close by ready to have a drink of water.

All in all, it was a quiet but good weekend.

Mum went and got a book to read and I sat in her lap.

That was warm too.

Julie: Well, we had a fun weekend.

It was Canada Day on Saturday, but it was rainy.

The rain stopped for a while so people could have fun.

I stayed inside as I always do.

There were even fireworks at the Community centre

that is close to where we live.

There was a bit of fog and that dampened the sound a bit.

We were not too scared as mum was with us.

Sunday morning it rained very hard.

It stopped around lunchtime.

I went on the porch to see if Critter TV was on.

There were squirrels and birds.

I wandered about for a bit, 

then hopped up onto the windowsill.  

I heard something and sat up to look.

Ha! I see you JJ!

My big brother came on the porch. 

We hand out together a lot on the porch.

I like JJ, he is pretty nice.

All in all, it was a pretty decent weekend.

Julie: We were a bit disappointed with the weekend.

We did not get any sun,but it did get right  on

Sunday afternoon. It was also pretty cool.

I did get on the porch though and my big brother JJ

was out there with me.

I really do like it better when there is sun.

I cannot wait for it to get warmer too.

Mum, are you sure you can't make the sun shine?

My Interesting Weekend by Julie

Julie: My weekend started off quite nicely.

I was out on the porch enjoying Critter TV.

Mum comes along and I was KIDNAPPED!!

Look where I ended up!
I was not amused.

The Vet is way to close to us.

Mum can walk there in less than 10 minutes!

The good thing was that it was just my semi-annual checkup.

The even better thing is that I passed!

Well, almost. The Vet told me I should lose a little weight.

Mum listened to her and now I'm gonna starve!

Julie, you will not starve.

Anyhow, after we came home I went back to my porch.

I could hear critters,like squirrels or mice.

I was sitting very quietly hoping something 

would pop out for me to catch.

Then, JJ decides to come out to the porch!

Sheesh!!!

Oh well, that's the kind of weekend it has been.

I may as well sit in the window and have a snooze.

Julie: We had a really nice weekend. It was nice and warm

just like Summer should be.Naturally, I was on the porch.

I just love it out here. There is so much to do.

I can sit here,

jump down on the floor,

roll around on the floor,

check out things,

and have a nap.

Life is so good ,especially when I am on the porch!

Julie: It was warm,cloudy and muggy on Sunday.

It was nice to be on the porch because I love the heat.

It's also nice to share time with my big brother JJ.

We like to hang out on the porch.

We also like to look out the windows and watch

Critter TV.

It was a good weekend!

My sisfur Georgia is at the Vet today.

She is having her final check and will have her IV 

needle removed. I think that she will like that.

She does not like spending time at the Vet.

I don't blame her

Julie: I like to hand out on the porch with my big brother JJ.

He is pretty cool and very laid back.

We had some sunshine this weekend and it was even warm!

Well, warmer than what we have been used to.

It was about 10 C ( 50F ), but warmer on the porch.

I live to soak up those sunbeams.

Mom seems to think I should pose.

No Mom, I will not relax my ears!

I just want to relax and look at the great outdoors.

Julie Watching Earl the Squirrel

Julie: I like to spend time looking out of the windows.

There is so much to see. Lately though, I have been

seeing a lot of squirrels!

See! That looks like Earl

 (generic name because it rhymes with squirrel)

He saw me looking at him, so he ran to his BIG tree.

I ran to the porch.

He's staring at me.

He's getting nervous, so he is climbing up the tree!

Yeah !!! I'm watching you Earl !

The nerve of that thing!

Screeching at me!

If only the screen was not on this window...

Julie: Sunday was a nice time as I got to hang out with my

big brother JJ. 

It was overcast, but warm with a nice breeze.

Purrfect for wiffies! Also for checking out wildlife.

We saw squirrels.

Hi Mom.  Be careful not to scare the wildlife away with that 

flashy box!

It was a good day and I had fun with JJ.

Julie: Oh, Mom is sitting on the porch.

I bet she will give me some scritches.

Oh yeah! That feels so good !

Mmmmmm! Ahhhhhhh! Mmmmmm!

That was good but I want more.

What? No more scritches?

OK Mom!
