Midnight Monday with Julie

Julie: Hi there. Well, another weekend has passed .

It was a good weekend though,since mum was around.

I even posed for her,sort of.

I was waiting for treat time.

Saturday was windy and rainy, but Sunday was sunny.

Here, the sun is coming up.

As Sunday was Remembrance Day, mum went to 

the service that was help in our community.

Some Veterans waiting for the service to start.

The arrival of the Veterans,Canadian forces,cadets,

Police and RCMP and others.

It was cool and windy buy not too cold.

When the service was over,mum came home 

and we had a nice afternoon.

As I said, it was a pretty good weekend

Relishing a Good Weekend with Julie

Julie: As you can see, I was really enjoying myself this past

weekend. It was cloudy and a bit cool Saturday, but Sunday

was great! The sun was shining and it heated up the porch!

My big brother JJ also enjoyed the warmth of the porch.

It was so cozy, I got to sun my belly.

Yes I know I lick my tummy way too much,but

I cannot help myself.

I do love tummy rubs though, so feel free to come and give me one.

I am so happy, I have to rub my face.

This makes mum laugh for some reason.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Like as a cat is mighty good!

We do have snow, but not a lot(20 cm or 8 inches).

Mum has made paths to the bird feeders.

As you can see, they enjoy the sunflower seeds.

Monday Musings with Julie

Julie: Mum, I know it got colder after all the rain on Saturday,

but I still want out on the porch.

Can I go out there? 

Please?

Oh boy! It is not too cold on the porch and I hear

something outside!

Want to know what it was?

Well, we got a tiny amount of snow on Saturday night.

Mum calls it a "skiff of snow".

But that's NOT what I saw.

 This is what I saw!
Earl the Squirrel hiding seeds in his tree house.

Sorry the video is not as clear as it could be.

But it was fun to watch him.

Julie: As you know I love the porch. I also love weekends

as I get to be on the porch as much as I want.

That is important as I get to see what's going on outdoors!

Look! There's Earl.

Oh! There he goes!

He is eating seeds mum put out.

I like to watch him.

I just wish I could get out there and chase him!

Heh,heh,heh!

After a day on the porch, I look forward to supper.

Is it ready yet mum? It's time !
