Happy Monday with Julie

Julie: Saturday was the best day of our weekend.

That's because it was sunny and I was on the porch.

Sunday we had a BIG snowstorm.

It snowed, then it rained and then it froze!

Mom says our city is a big mess.

Be that as it may, all I know is that I cannot get on the porch

and snooze like I did on Saturday !

My big brother JJ wishes he could sleep on the porch too.

The ducks have taken to hanging around our yard.

They have discovered the seeds Mom puts out for the birds.

Well, they are birds too.

While it is not sunny, there is a good thing about today.

Mom is home with us as it is Heritage Day!

I am waiting for her to sit and read her book.

She has a nice warm lap I can sleep in!

Midnight Monday with Tillie and Julie

Julie: Mom called me dusty!

Can you believe that?

OK. Maybe I am a tad dusty.

Tillie is enjoying a big snooze on the porch.

We saw these BIG birds outside!

They hang out in the river and lake near our home.

They are eating the cracked corn Mom puts out for

all the critters.

It was sunny on Sunday so Mom decided it was a good

time to put up the Christmas lights.

Humans have some strange customs,heehee

Midnight Monday with Tillie and Julie

Tillie: Yesterday was a strange day. It was rainy all day.

Then,just before supper, the sun came out!

Mom took this picture,and you can see a bit of sun on my furs.

It makes them look a bit red.

About 15 minutes after taking the above picture,the clouds moved

 in  and the wind blew hard and the rain poured down! It lasted 

for about 10 minutes.You can see how it got darker, and the rain 

on the window.It stayed overcast, then it cooled off

and we got some snow!

The weather is very crazy!!

Julie: That's right Tillie, the weather is crazy and so are ducks!!

They like water! Can you imagine? I mean, I like to drink it,

but get IN it? No way!!

Look at these guys! It's raining and they look happy!

They are even standing in the water!!

Birds are weird!
