Julie on the porch

Julie: I like laying in the sun.

However, I see something better!

I'm going to hop up on the couch.

JJ is on the couch and I know he will give me 

another bath.

JJ is such a cool brother and he loves to groom me.

He keeps me looking good.

I think he deserves a nap after the grooming session.

See what a great job he did?

I love JJ.

Bathtime on the Porch with Julie and JJ

Julie: Hi friends. I'm just waiting for my groomer

to come along. I always feel better after a nice

groom session. I look better too.

Oh good, JJ is here.

He does such a good job with grooming.

Oh yeah, that feels good.

Whatever it is  nip it out!

That was a pretty good session.

As you can see, my hair is still damp but clean !

Julie on the Porch

Julie: I had a pretty good weekend.

Naturally that means I had lots of porch time.

I shared it with my big brother JJ.

After a while, I had to lay on the floor. 

I like it down here.

I love to roll on the floor and rub my face.

I even love to rub my face on mum's foot.

A foot belly rub!

I even went back to the couch .

Yup, I had a pawsome weekend!

I hope you did too.

Porch Time with Julie

Julie: You know, sunshine is the best!

It feels so good on your furs when you look out the window.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm!

Know what else is good?

Getting on the porch and rolling on the floor.

JJ is not convinced that the rolling part

is necessary. MOL!

The other thing I like to do on the porch is explore.

Relishing a Good Weekend with Julie

Julie: As you can see, I was really enjoying myself this past

weekend. It was cloudy and a bit cool Saturday, but Sunday

was great! The sun was shining and it heated up the porch!

My big brother JJ also enjoyed the warmth of the porch.

It was so cozy, I got to sun my belly.

Yes I know I lick my tummy way too much,but

I cannot help myself.

I do love tummy rubs though, so feel free to come and give me one.

I am so happy, I have to rub my face.

This makes mum laugh for some reason.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Like as a cat is mighty good!

We do have snow, but not a lot(20 cm or 8 inches).

Mum has made paths to the bird feeders.

As you can see, they enjoy the sunflower seeds.

Thanksgiving Day!

Julie: We are really enjoying our extra mum day.

It is Thanksgiving today in Canada.

I am dreaming of some turkey.

Hope mum gets some for us.

She is celebrating with lots of family.

Snuggle Buddies on the Porch

Julie: JJ! Mum is here with that camera again.

JJ: Ignore her Julie;

 We just want to snuggle up and enjoy a god snooze.

That's what buddies are for.

Midnight Monday with Julie

Julie: Well, we had a fun weekend.

It was Canada Day on Saturday, but it was rainy.

The rain stopped for a while so people could have fun.

I stayed inside as I always do.

There were even fireworks at the Community centre

that is close to where we live.

There was a bit of fog and that dampened the sound a bit.

We were not too scared as mum was with us.

Sunday morning it rained very hard.

It stopped around lunchtime.

I went on the porch to see if Critter TV was on.

There were squirrels and birds.

I wandered about for a bit, 

then hopped up onto the windowsill.  

I heard something and sat up to look.

Ha! I see you JJ!

My big brother came on the porch. 

We hand out together a lot on the porch.

I like JJ, he is pretty nice.

All in all, it was a pretty decent weekend.

Midnight Monday with Julie

Julie: We were a bit disappointed with the weekend.

We did not get any sun,but it did get right  on

Sunday afternoon. It was also pretty cool.

I did get on the porch though and my big brother JJ

was out there with me.

I really do like it better when there is sun.

I cannot wait for it to get warmer too.

Mum, are you sure you can't make the sun shine?

Sunshine on the Porch!

Julie: As you can see, I got on the porch!

It was sunny and warm.

Oh it felt so good too.

I got to check out all the smells by the door.

I also checked the smells by the couch. 

Mum did a lot of cleaning on the porch.

She also washed all of our blankets and mats she puts on the couch.

Oh yes, I am a very happy kitty.

I look forward to Summer a lot!

My big brother JJ was on the porch with me.

He was looking for the best place for a nap.

He also had to take  moment to check things out by the door.

He finally decided this was the best spot for a nap.

I don't blame him. He is sitting on a fuzzy yellow blanket.

Yes friends, I see many,many more days on the porch ahead!
