Yesterday, NTM was interviewed on the phone by a reporter about House Panthers!The reporter wanted to know about how SUPERIOR and CLEVER black cats are, and how the myths of black cats being unlucky are just poppycock! Okay, NTM didn't say poppycock to the reporter, he said something about 'debunking myths' but I think poppycock is a good word to use when people diss black cats!The reporter isn't for a particular news service, but for a syndicated news company, so any newspaper or magazine or radio station might pick it up. NTM was careful to ask that our House Panthers blog be mentioned in his article.If we hear any more about an article that comes from the interview, we'll keep you posted.Meow for now,Isis

Calling All House Panthers!

My challenge to all House Panthers (and their human typists) for 2010 is to post a blog post here on our House Panthers site at least ONCE A MONTH.
Your post doesn't have to be a prize-winning essay, we love anything posted here!  A picture - even a blurry one - or an update on what's going on in your life, or even a re-post of something about you from your own blog.

With all the House Panthers we have here, we should be having at least a post a day, right?

Isis on Sunday

Sorry I haven't been blogging here recently. My NTM had to close his store, which means that he & I are unemployed now. He keeps joking that he's gonna put me on a street corner with a sign that says WILL WORK FOR KIBBLE but that hasn't happened yet.Our iDaddy is visiting from the UK, so that has kep NTM occupied, too - along with the store closing and looking for a new job. Not being able to go downstairs to work with NTM sure has put a cramp in my style. So, I have discovered how to get up on the cabinets above the kitchen sink. So I can snoopervise everything.Oh - NTM would like to say that he has gotten a couple requests to join House Panthers over the past few weeks via comments here on this blog, but the comments were not attached to an e-mail, so he cannot respond and send an invite. My friend Mary has started a new weekly meme, called Window Views.  Since cats and windows go so well together, I thought this was a natural for me to participate in.  After I came back from a meeting the other day, Little Isis was sitting in the display window of The Wren's Nest.  Grabbing my cell phone, I took this shot of her.   Not the best quality picture, but you can see what visitors walking past my store get to see!

Lookie - if you dare!! Oh, the horrors!!! That splotchy thing has ahold of MY cocktail-wiener toy and is playing with it next to MY tower!!!! Oh, the horrors!!! I'm so sorry, fellow panthers, to have to post this picture of the splotchy creature here, but you just have to see how horrible it is for yourself!!!
