Inkie!

Longtime readers of Purrchance To Dream and House Panthers may remember the story of Inkie, the tiny black kitty rescued from a snow bank and nursed back to life.  To read her story, click here.

She was given a Forever Home by my friend Bessie, and has been very happy since.  Inkie is very shy of all people, except for Bessie, and the only way I was able to get a picture of her recently was with my cell phone while she watched the birdies through her window.

This past weekend, Inkie got a new big sister - a Russian Blue from Bessie's neighbors who moved from their house into a no-cat apartment.  Half Pint, the new kitty, is still in hiding at Bessie's, but I'll try to get a picture soon for a Blue Wednesday appearance here.

Inkie Update

Yesterday at Purrchance To Dream, I did an update on Callie, the lovely calico I fostered and found a Forever Home for - and today I'm doing an update on Inkie, the lovely little House Panther that I fostered and found a Forever Home for!
Last night, I went over to my friend Bessie's and got to see the Inkster - she is a very happy, very vocal and loving kitty.  She loves her mommy Bessie VERY much and to see the two of them together is very touching - clearly there is lots of mutual love there!
These 3 pictures are from winter of 2007, when Inkie was found starving and dehydrated and I fostered her at The Wren's Nest.  I'm very happy to say that Bessie has given the little imp a wonderful Forever Home!

Oh - I can tell the difference in photos of Inkie and Isis (aside from having them in different photo files) because Inkie has green eyes and Isis has golden eyes!  In person, both are petite but Isis has a much squarer face and Inkie looks like our friend Luxor dyed black! (I think Inkie has some Meezer in her!)
