Midnight Monday with Julie

Julie: You know, I don't think there is anything 

so great as sunshine.

It warms your furs and body nicely.

It makes you feel happy and cozy.

I think we should have sunshine all the time!!!

Oh, and warm temperatures too.

Julie on the porch

Julie: I like laying in the sun.

However, I see something better!

I'm going to hop up on the couch.

JJ is on the couch and I know he will give me 

another bath.

JJ is such a cool brother and he loves to groom me.

He keeps me looking good.

I think he deserves a nap after the grooming session.

See what a great job he did?

I love JJ.

Porch Time with Julie

Julie: There is nothing better than spending time

on the porch in the morning.There is plenty of

sun, but it is not too hot yet!

I love sitting here.

Oh,wait, I hear a commotion outside!

It's some squirrels and they are chasing one another!

OH!! It looks like they are coming up to the door!!

I gotta check this out!!

Mum's note: The squirrels did come up on the front

porch deck, but kept on going toward the side  of

the house. 

I am pretty sure Julie would have loved to chase them.

but she does not go outside.

Julie's Weekend Around the House

Julie:Saturday was overcast and rainy.

Sometimes the rain was heavy.

It was a good day for snoozing.

Sunday was sunny! It was a grand day for enjoying 

sunshine on my panther furs.

My big brother JJ loved it too.

Oh sunshine, no wonder cats and humans worship you!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

The porch was pretty nice too.

It always is a great place to hang out.

Oh yes, I love the porch !

But!!!!

Can you believe the nerve of this guy?!!

He broke into the porch and wanted to know 

if he could have seeds! Can you imagine?

Mum said she put seeds outdoors and he had to go outside for them.

I was upset the she did not let me help him out.

I cannot imagine why!

Julie Loves Grass!

Julie: Oh boy,mum got me some grass!!

I really like eating grass.

I have mum well trained to go outside and pick me some.

Yus mum, it is tasty.Thanks!

Should I save this for later?

Maybe. I see other things I may need to check out.

There's always something to see on the porch.

Julie: You know, sunshine is the best!

It feels so good on your furs when you look out the window.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm!

Know what else is good?

Getting on the porch and rolling on the floor.

JJ is not convinced that the rolling part

is necessary. MOL!

The other thing I like to do on the porch is explore.

See what is behind here...nothing.

Up on the shelf next !

Monday Musings with Julie

Julie: Mum, I know it got colder after all the rain on Saturday,

but I still want out on the porch.

Can I go out there? 

Please?

Oh boy! It is not too cold on the porch and I hear

something outside!

Want to know what it was?

Well, we got a tiny amount of snow on Saturday night.

Mum calls it a "skiff of snow".

But that's NOT what I saw.

 This is what I saw!
Earl the Squirrel hiding seeds in his tree house.

Sorry the video is not as clear as it could be.

But it was fun to watch him.

Midnight Monday with Julie on the Porch

Julie: I really love mu porch, but I think you all 

know that. Yesterday morning I was sitting out here.

It was early in the morning so the porch was not hot.

Mum even gave me some catnip and that was nice.

I love that stuff.

Sometimes it winds me up, and sometimes it makes me relaxed.

I do feel relaxed. I need to find a comfy snoozing spot.

I think I will leave the porch for a while.

Maybe I'll go to my other fave spot in the living room.

I like sleeping in this chair.

It's comfy and I can keep an eye on mum as she does her 

Sunday chores.

If she decided to go on the porch to read her book,

you know I'll be right there in her lap !

Julie's Great Weekend on the Porch

Julie: It was a pretty good weekend. 

We had sunshine and the temperatures were comfy.

It was great to be on the porch.

I decided to have a little bath.

I like to keep my shiney black furs shiney.

Oh, I see mum.

Are you coming out on the porch?
