Caturday Art: Caution: Diamond at Work

There were all kinds of big trucks on our street this week. "What they doing?" I ask my bean as we watch them from veranda.

"I don't know," she say. "Constructing."

"Constructing what?" She say she not know. "Constructing Pet Supermarket?" She says she not think so.

But empty lot be good place to put new Pet Supermarket. Then I could shop there effury day.



I do not know much about constructing, but I do know that you need plans to construct anything. "Maybe I go see what kind plans they have," I suggest.

"No," she says. "Stay on the veranda. You are a little cat and they are very big machines." Okay, she have point. "I'm sure they are just fixing the sewer lines," she says. Again? You mean they STILL broken?



"What kind of machine that?" It very impressive at moving dirt around. I find anything that can kick litter better than me impressive.

"Bulldozer," she says.

"Bull....??? It put bulls to sleep?"

"No...no...no..." Seriously, should call it dirt mover. Name it what it is.



Anyway, I think they done now and they street looks all new. So maybe they not construct anything, but fix street. Which not very useful to me, as I do not go in street. However, will make it easier for bean to go get me treats at day hunting ground.

Caturday Art - Sonny and Cher Edition

It all started out with the Sonny and Cher pawty....well, Sunny and Share. Same thing. I want to go alone, but oh no, take kid brofur with you, he will enjoy. And of course he insist upon singing "I got you babe" about sixty times. Finally I go all George Foreman on him. Most annoying.

Peace they say! What peace with annoying kid brofur around?



It different with human. Me and my human, we got a groovy kind of love. And temptations. Mostly temptations. But I rather be with the human than with my own kind. Does that make me strange. I don't think so.

They are quite absurd animals, but very kind and clever. Well, some are. Mine is. Anyway, I thought I looked quite good in this one. Very retro! Which, I kind of old, so I retro cat, make sense. Not sixties old, but I turn 14 this year. That pretty old for a cat.



This one, very colorful. Feel like I in episode of Mod Squad. All I need now, some go-go boots!

Caturday Art: Passport Edition

This week I thought I go on vacation for a bit, in part because I have to get drops put on me again and decide after that to get as far away from human as possible to show my displeasure.

First I not go too far, only as far as our neighbor to the north, Canada.

First I go to Ontario and stop to see Niagara Falls. Everyone should see them! So much water! So terrifying! After I escape Niagara Falls I then travel to British Columbia, which I like much better.



From Canada, I hop on plane and go for a very long ride to see my furriends Brock and Flynn in Australia. I also want to go to Sydney especially to see the opera house.

I stayed in cities though mostly and did not see any Kangaroos or Tasmanian Devils. Kind of disappointed. But...very important. Sun is very bright in Australia, even now in winter months, and you must take care when going out.



I come home by way of South America and stop in Rio to finish my trip. While that may seem kind of silly, given that I live in Florida and there sun and sand there too, I find Rio of great interest because it only city in the world with rain forest right in the middle of it!

Plus after watching cartoons of the same name I want to see if it quite so happening a place as it is made out to be. I think it is. Very beautiful city!

Caturday Art: Sleeping Beauty Edition

I wanted to do Sleeping Beauty story with me playing all the parts, but Bean, who is sick with cold, nixed the production. But still. If there is one thing cats love to do, it is sleep. I am no different.

I don't know any cat who doesn't like to sleep, except maybe Pepsi the REM Sleep Disorder Kitty. But in any case. Cinamon of Adventures of Cinamon's world propose virtual camping trip which included two things I love, Bar-B-Que and sleeping. I can even get that in real life. So...

While I have my litle tent to sleep in, that not really camping out to me, so I do this one like our wild ancestors and sleep under the trees. I should try sleeping on tree limb sometime, like my wild panther cousin!



Next I do a bit of fantasy sleeping. I not sleeping under the stars, I sleeping WITH the stars. Except I don't think stars ever sleep, they always seem to be there.

Sleeping on a cloud looks peaceful, yes? I hope I do not rain down on myself!



And then there is owl and Pussycat and I am NOT sleeping in the beautiful pea green boat because it might leak and I might get wet.

Anyway, like how this one turned out, even though I have to put up with bean croaking out "what's new pussycat" song while she work on it.



Edward Scissorpaws do Snoozing Saturday on his page, but I prefer Sleeping in Sunday be cause I no good with selfies. Don't like getting flash in eyes.

So now I snoozing on both Saturday and Sunday, which suites me just fine!

Caturday Art - Time Travel Edition

Up, up and away in my beautiful balloon? Well, that had been the plan, but I efurry day I look outside and I see rain. Rain and more rain. No flying today! Stuck inside instead with Bean watching longest movie in the history of the world. Took the humans forever to get off the planet in this one. No wonder they can't conquer space, take them forever to get one rocket launched.

So anyway, no flying. How come, when it is cold out she can make it warm in the house and when it is very hot out, she can make it cool in the house and she can make rain, every day in bathroom in "shower". So how come she can't do this outside too? Then, if it gonna rain she could make it not rain until it convenient for me. Seems reasonable to me. Do not understand the problem.



I rather liked this one, as I think about cruising about in my air ship. I look like Time Lady Cat in this one. Very pleased with hat too. Look just wonderful! Just think, all of time and space to explore in my airship! If only it wouldn't rain and it was safe to fly!



Anyway, since I'm grounded, and have time machine, I take a trip back to roaring 20's and live it up as a flapper for a while. Think I look marvelous in this one too! Vintage look very good on me - then again - I pretty much vintage cat.

Caturday Art: Dancing Queen Edition

So, Tristan go check himself into rehab or something and not having little brother hanging around, I decide it a good time for a girl's night out. There are many places on Facebook where a Lady Cat can go to get her meow on, if you know what I mean.

Besides, I look really good in purple. So...here I am arriving at the club in my silver convertible. Very ostentatious entrance, so everyone know I'm there. Would make any movie star proud!



Here I am looking quite elegant on the dance floor. I may be mangy old timer, but believe me, this Lady Cat still has some moves!



I go for cute, less elegant look on the next time, in keeping with the club, which not as swanky as the first place. Still lots of fun though. Cats love to dance! It's a secret we do not share with the humans!

Caturday Art: Cracked Actress Edition

Bean say I Drama Queen, by which I take it to mean she think I good actress, and I agree. I am very photogenic, as you can see, and I very good in front of camera. It still a complete mystery to me that I never make it into movies.

I guess it not help, that I don't live in Hollywood. I think it would be different, I live in Hollywood. Then I could go by MGM and Universal and Paramount and they can see what a marvelous actress I am, and then I get in all the big films.

But alas, it seems I fated to a live of obscurity in Florida. Suppose it could be worse. At least the weather is nice here.

(Did you know, even when movie set in Florida, they still film it in Hollywood and just make it look like it in Florida? It's true!)



Of course, it now getting into summer and it time to see what the huge summer blockbusters gonna be this year. Truth be told, I still catching up on the huge summer blockbusters from last year, because, you know, I cat and for some reason I cannot fathom, I not allowed in movie theater. So I have to wait until Bean brings movies for me to watch.

I like watching movies, very enjoyable activity, and so I know I would enjoy making them too. I would probably win Oscar, don't you think? I can just imagine my name in lights too!



Anyway, I getting old now, and time for being in movie is probably over. I regret never getting my big chance. I would have been famous actress, director, even screen writer!

Well, at least you all, my dedicated fans, get to bask in beauty for a while. I gonna go get some Temptations now, and settle back to watch film. Perhaps I will be armchair critic instead.

Caturday Art: Cowgirrl Baby Edition

First of all, I need to clear some things up. Tristan says I eat all the treats. This not true. He helped. Just cause we run out and bean need go get more, not my fault. She not keep stock up. So hard to get good help these days. Also, I not "little trouble maker" or "instigator". I do none of these things. I only whap him when he deserve it.

So, putting me on wanted poster, not my idea of a good joke. Ha-ha. Not funny.



Truth is, I'm just a Cowgirrl Baby and like most girrls, just wanna have fun. After all, I was one who round up evil mousie gang and bring them to heel. And no, mousies NOT my minons. (I cannot believe he even think that.)



And this one is way off base. First of all, I cannot rob stage coach or rustle cattle because, this Cape Coral, no stage coaches or cattles to do anything with. To. Whatever. And as for stealin' of treats, I cannot steal what already belong to me. Temptations are mine. Grumpy Cat Party Mixes are his. It always be this way.

You can see how unjust these allegations are!

Caturday Art: Born to be Wild Edition

I am Diamond, Queen of the Jungle, hear me ROAR!

Truly, I was born to be wild, but...there are some things to be said about living in house as well. Like not having to be out in rain and getting my beautiful furs wet.

Plus getting scritched and well...Temptations. There are no Temptations in the jungle. But other than that...



Of course, for House Panther, any garden can be a jungle and I have my territories that rule over with iron claw. They can be pretty overgrown too.

Especially in Florida. In fact, lawn was looking quite a bit overgrown earlier in week but lawn men came and cut it. I do not like lawn men. The noise from their engines upsets me. Cannot take proper nap when they make all that noise.

How dare they keep Queen of the Jungle awake when I tryin' to nap on breakfast bar!



In real jungle I not have to worry about lawn men. I would be the one making all the noise. Or maybe Tabby Brofur would, cause he never shuts up!

Caturday Art: Retro Edition

This week we go to Sock Hop on Facebook in honor of Trooper's purrthday. We are very good at this sock hop stuff because our human is from that era (the older than dirt era) and knows all the music.

In fact, she was working on this artwork even before we got the pawty invitation. I think I look totally cool in this one with my sunglasses on! (And my pretty collar!)



There was soda bar at the pawty, so of course I get ice cream sundae! And put dimes in juke box! (These days more like dollar in juke box if you can even find juke box!)



Dancing to music is hot and thirsty work, so I take another break. Besides, their more ice cream treats to try!



Anyway, I think I make a cool retro House Panther!

Caturday Art: Beach Pawty Edition

This week we go to FB beach pawty at Aslan's Lunch Box sponsored by Team Sunshine. It was fun and good way to meet new furriends! So now we have some pictures of pawty to share with you.



Here I am, all ready for pawty and even to go in the water (not that I would EVER go in the water) as I have my dolphin floatie with me. I would much rather stay on shore and play with beach ball or chase butterflies.



Of course, it a beach so there plenty of sand and sun and that best part of pawty. I get to lay out on warm sand and enjoy frou-frou drink.



Pawty was over way to soon, and we think about going clubbing afterward, but I find out about romantic cruise, so I decide to take romantic sunset cruise. I have no one to be romantic with, but that okay, I pretend. It probably more fun that way. Mancats always messing something up.
