Welcome, Niles Grelyak of CatInTheFridge.com!

Hello, Fair Readers!

My name is Niles. I am a black cat. I have green eyes and a sprinkling of lovely white spots on my head. I was adopted in 2000 by Alana Grelyak while she was in college in Wisconsin. Since then, I have been snuggling her nightly for almost 14 years.
This is Niles with Alana, circa 2002. Note that he is accepting of, and will nap with, all creatures, including the rat (Rapunzel) resting on Alana's chest.

My main talent is healing. If you have a headache? I can solve it. If you are tired, I will sense this and immediately knock you out. Not forcefully, of course, but with the power of my purr. My nickname in the house is "The Insominator." At night, I sleep above my mom's pillow. I don't move all night, except to shift my butt occasionally to be poised directly above her head.

When no one is looking, I snuggle my brother. I do not let the dog touch me, but it is perfectly ok if I touch the dog.

I am pleased to now be a part of the House Panther club!

Sincerely,

Niles Grelyak.

PS. A note from Alana:  Niles is a wonderful little soul. Without him, my life would be lacking in snuggles and love. He is gentle, wise, and always kind. He is accepting and loving. He is an old soul, without a doubt, for there is always great knowledge and wisdom that I see when I look into his beautiful green eyes. We are pleased to be a part of House Panther so that I can share thoughts about Niles, my beloved friend.  Please also visit us at http://catinthefridge.com, where we speak out for special needs animals, and also makes jokes. Lots of them.

Alana.
