I Can Sit Here if I Want

Mom had to go out of town. While she left us in the capable hands of one of her best friends, she was still out of town. She wasn't here. We tend to know something is up by how she cleans before she leaves. She says she hates coming home to a messy house.

She was gone during the time she usually posts to House Panthers so that's why this is late. She came in the back door and left it open so we could come outside while she emptied the car. HA! I'd rather wait up here.

She hadn't had supper so was going to have some cereal, but got distracted by the phone. What is this "Get down" that she's always talking about?

Actually, I'm not fond of the kitchen table. There are better places to be.

Midnight Monday with Tillie and Julie

Tillie: Guess what? Mom was away on Sunday.

She was doing something called a family BBQ.

Since we were abandoned,again, we did a lot of this!

Julie did a lot of this,

and this. Mom sure do go away lots in the Summer.

They call it family get togethers  or BBQs.

All we know is that on weekends when we  usually have

 Mom around for two days, she seems to be out and away a lot!

Bet your folks  abandon you  too.

Oh well, Mom gives us lots of scritches when she gets back.

Midnight Monday and Mom is Back!

Mom was on vacation all last week. She was around for s

few days, then abandoned us to a sitter!!! Now she is back 

and we are happy,happy kitties!

What! Wait! You just get back and already with the 

camera!!!!!!!!!! Arghhh!!!

Darn cameras anyway!

Oh well, I have friends that want to see me, so I better

pose so they can see my pretty face .

I suppose you want to see Tillie too.

She was so happy to get back on the porch, she just about

slept in her box all weekend.

She only got up to snuggle with Mom and eat! Hahaha!!

 Mom went  to visit a sister that lives near Wolfville.

Mom went with our furcousin's Mom,and her sister visiting from 

Ottawa. Mom has 3 sisters. Not far from where Mom's sister lives

there is this handsome horse who came over to say Hi!

This fine looking horse is in the same field.

They are quite friendly.

The 4 sisters then went to visit their Mom(Grammie)  

and her 2  brothers. One brother manages a vineyard and 

will soon be taking on another startup vineyard.

He also has a small vineyard of his own.

These vines are 3 years old and will be ready for harvest next year.

The grapes of these vines will go into sparkling wines. The local

wineries here do quite well in Nova Scotia and beyond.

 Here, Mom's brother is leading his siblings into the rows of vines.

Mom said she had a great vacation, but we are happy 

that she is back here with us !!!

Guess what? Mom was busy with her sister

this weekend. They had projects they wanted 

to work on . They did this at Mom's sister's place.

I am wondering around because I miss Mom.

Mom has vacation left and she is taking days off

Mom, why don't you spend them with me???

Don't worry Tillie.I will spend time with you.

You know, I miss you too!! I just have one 

more busy weekend this weekend coming.

We are getting ready for the annual

 Tea and Tour!!

OK Mom. But remember, you promised!!

Mom was away this weekend!!

She went to visit Grammie.

Grammie has some big holly bushes.

They have lots of bright red berries too.

Mom's brother started a small vineyard this year.

The plants did very well.It will be a few more years 

before he will harvest grapes. 

He works at a nearby vineyard.

While I am happy Mom visited family,

I could not wait for her to come back!

I needed to tell her I won a contest!!!!!

Yup!! The Halloween contest over at 

Halloween Spooktacular!!!

I won the "Most Resistance to Wearing a Costume"category!!!I did not like wearing a costume and ran all around the house ,then tried to back out of it!While I am very happy to win, I hope I do not have to wear any more clothes!!!!Mom was pretty excited, heeheeMe too!!!
