Surprise mail....

This came in the mailbox today... not totally surprise ... I knew that I was going to get an envelope from Anne-Pia Godske Rasmussen... (you know the fantastic Danish designer with this fantastic book )...
I helped her out this summer to find a special "kruskavel" for baking out bread with... and this came in my mail ...
...not just the money...that I knew... very stubborn ...she insisted... :) no need ...just glad to be able to help!!...
She knows that Viktor collect stamps from different countries... so she collected these stamps for him... and what a smile he had !!! :)

And do you see the wonderful bracelet...oh my...wish you could see my smile... :)

...it´s absolutely wonderful...and it fits perfect!!!

Örnsköldsvik...

Last weekend my friends ( Marica, Louise and Britt-Inger) and I joined a course with Anne-Pia Godske Rasmussen and we really had a lovely and fun weekend...despite my running nose...One lady in Örnsköldsvik had made this lovely quilt and this block says it all for this weekend!!

Our teacher Anne-Pia Godske Rasmussen from Denmark had a Easter theme for us with bunnies and hens...just lovely things...

...I made this table mat... and one more started...but need to make one or two more...

...and lots of different hens...potholders and tablemats... I must have missed to take some pictures of the bunnies....they were really cute....

I mitten på November var det dags för kurs igen...denna gång arrangerade jag och Marica en helg med Anne-Pia Godske Rasmussen. Vi hade fantastiska dagar på en underbar norrbottensgård utanför Piteå. Med deltagare från Arjeplog i norr och Stockholm i söder...och kursledaren från Danmark! Vilket underbart gäng av tjejer!! Fler bilder från kursen finns på Maricas blogg.
Den här gången skulle vi göra två änglar, två väggbonader, påsväska och som bonus en brosch som kunde användas som nåldyna..... här Britt-Ingers variant....

In November Marica and I arranged a weekend course with Anne-Pia Godske Rasmussen from Denmark to come to us. She had wonderful angels for us to do, two different wallhangings, a stringbag and as a bonus ...a beautiful brooch to use as a pincushion... If you visit Maricas blogg you can see some more pictures from this weekend. Visst ser det inte så besvärligt ut att stoppa benen ;D Jag tycker att Louise och Britt-Inger har det rätt så trevligt....

They seem to have a really nice time...not to difficult to stuff the legs??? Här är några av de färdiga änglarna och några av tomtarna 0ch granarna vi gjorde som lite kvällspyssel. Tyvärr så kan jag inte stoltsera med en färdig ängel ...min har inga vingar ännu...men bild kommer snart...förstår inte att jag inte får någonting färdigt ;D
