Halloween costumes

Hope all my peeps had a great Halloween. I think it was the longest Halloween weekend ever. Now, let the holidays begin. I love this time of year. Wooo Hooo!!!

So many things to learn

Sooooo, obviously I've been getting a kick out of using studio lighting but look what else I've been messing around with . . .

I'VE HAD AN ITCH. . .

I have ALWAYS wanted to be the master of studio lighting. But every time I pull out my lights I get overwhelmed and sometimes frustrated. It doesn't help that I have a bunch of kiddos getting a kick out of walking on the background paper and wrinkling it all up. Lately I've had the itch to pull out the gear and practice a bit. Today I scratched that itch! I set it all up and had some fabulous volunteers. I think I did okay. I have a lot to learn but nonetheless, okay. I'm hoping to document my kiddos in their Halloween garb, stay tuned. . .

With a couple days before the weekend I got a phone call telling me that my in-laws were coming for the weekend. Fortunately for me my home looked rockin' (thanks to new carpet and some extra helpers - so bring it on). Now, with only a day and a half to spend with them we needed to make sure we spent it wisely. . .

The kids have been trained to plan on a trip to the dollar store when Grandma and Grandpa come so that was a no brainer.

But of course we had to take a family bike ride to Barros Pizza. And who doesn't like a good tandem bike ride.
I think they'll come back again. It was a good weekend. Thanks for the efforts Joel and Marium!!
