Gunn Hege ♥ Vegard

I går giftet Gunn Hege og Vegard seg i Strandebarm kirke, og jeg var så heldig å få være med å forevige dagen deres med kameraet mitt. Etter en uke med øsende regn, lyn og torden, så viste Hardanger seg fra sin beste side med 20 grader, sol og litt skyer - perfekt fotovær.

Yesterday Gunn Hege and Vegard got married in Strandebarm . After a week with terrible weather(rain and thunderstorms), the sun came back and gave us perfect conditions for photography.

Forrige helg giftet min fetter seg med vakre Eman. Vielsen og festen var på Øverland gård i Bærum og jeg var så heldig å få være fotograf. Her har du et par smakebiter av bildene.

Last weekend my cousin got married to beautiful Eman. The ceremony and party took place at Øverland Gård. I was their wedding photographer and here are some sneak peeks on the photos:

I heart Faces Photo Challenge ~ People's Choice

This Monday, the challenge at I heart faces is to show the best face photo you've taken in January.
This photo is from Merethe & Joar's wedding day (January 8th). I like this very much. The setting was a windy and cold day filled with lots of snow. Despite the bad weather and cold conditions, Merethe and Joar's love and warmth shows through and especially in this photo. They were so brave and went with me on all my crazy ideas, even when they froze like h..l.

Today Merethe and Joar got married and we had a freezing photo session. Winter weddings can be really cold and they were so brave in the freezing cold weather. We had snow and wind and the season was working against us sometimes! But I still managed to get a lot of photos to work with.

Seriously Stylish Camera Bag

As I promised you earlier, I would tell you about some of the cool stuff I got for my 30th birthday in December. One of the things is a cool new camera bag. My old one is from Crumpler and it has been an amazing camera bag. It has been with my through snow, rain, sand etc and my camera equipment have been well protected all the time. The Crumpler bag will still be my companion on photo shoots etc., but as the years have gone by, I've been missing a nicer camera bag to bring along on holidays, shopping, city life etc. I wanted it to be more like my bags/purses, but with the padding for the camera equipment too. 

After doing a whole lot of online research, the answer to all my wishes was found at Epiphanie Bags. 

Epiphanie Bags has some seriously stylish camera bags, which makes it easy to bring your camera with you everywhere. The bags also has some room for the normal stuff you have in your purse(wallet, makeup etc), so this way you can bring it all in one bag!

I got the Epiphanie Ginger bag in black with pink padding. Sorry for the bad photos. I used another camera since my SLR is in the bag :)

And another cool thing is that the camera comes in this über cool custom-fitted storage/dust bag :)

And inside the bags they have hidden some Epiphanie cards with some sweet sayings. Here is a photo of the 2 I got in my bag's pockets:

Today I photographed Tine and Silje's wedding in Strandebarm. We couldn't have asked for better weather and it was a pleasure capturing these memories for them!

Wedding Photos 2009 - Brita & Helge

It's time to show you some photos from the wedding shoots I did this summer.

First up is Brita & Helge, who got married in Øystese. The photos were taken at Skutlaberg in Norheimsund. This was the hottest day of the summer and it was hard work for all of us. Thanks to Randi for helping me out at the shoot;)
