Valentines for Family

Hello Everyone!
Today I'm showing you the
Valentine's cards I made for my family.
I don't always send out Valentine's, but
I needed to make a couple and just decided to
keep going.
I just went with things I had available and
created as I went.
I'm pretty happy with the way they turned ou.
This one goes to my hubby.
This one to my son and daughter in law.
This one to my daughter and son in law.
This one to my granddaughter.
This to my grandson.
and this one to my
100 yr old Aunt Marilyn.

Thanks for stopping by today.
I hope you have enjoyed your time and
been inspired in some way.
Do you send out Valentine's Day cards?
Hope to see you again soon.
Until then,
have a LOVEly Valentine's Day!

Hogs & Kisses and a Card From the Elves

Hello and Welcome!
Today I have a couple cards that were created
as special Valentine cards
My grandchildren have Elves that visit at
Christmas time.  They are always sad to see them
leave after Christmas.
I thought they would like to receive a card from
them for Valentine's day,
so I made this one.
I wrote a not inside and signed it from
Bernadette and Bernard.
I think they will be very surprised to receive it.
This card was made and sent to a school in
Ohio.  A friend posted that they class was
trying to get cards from all states, so I
decided to be sure they had one from
New York.
I think it tuned out pretty cute.
I used a simple sentiment inside the card,
then signed my name and where I live.
I hope they got at least one from each state.

Thanks for stopping in today,
and I hope you'll come again soon.
Until then,
make a card and give someone a smile.

You Make My Heart Smile Valentine Cards

Hello everyone!
Today I have a couple more Valentine cards to show you.
I used a piece of alcohol inked card stock from my stash
as a background.
I cut the heart our with a die and my Cuttlebug,
stamped the sentiment onto it and added little
dash lines around the heart.
It was adhered with foam tape to the front of
the card.
This card was even simpler to make.
I found the paper with the red flower petals around
the edge in my stash and used that as a front panel.
Stamped the sentiment, I adhered it to
a red card base and it was done.
For both cards I stamped
Happy Velentine's Day
on the inside with a
Dyan Reavely alpha set
Easy peasy cards,
just use what you have, use up that
stash and people will love these cards much more
than something bought from a store.

Note the links are only to give a reference so you can
see what the products are.
I didn't necessarily purchase from these sites,
except where specified,
and you may find better prices elsewhere,
I am in no way promoting any particular site.

Little Envelope Message Valentine Card

Hello craft lovers!
Today I have a Valentine card to show you.
Valentine's Day will be here before we know it and if
you are sending out cards, it's time to start getting
some ideas.
This card was actually very simple to make.
I punched out some hearts and made a few little
envelopes.
The background was a piece from my stash, red is always
good for a Valentine's Day card.
I stamped greetings inside the little envelopes and
closed them with washi tape.
Hearts and envelopes were adhered to the front of
the card.
Happy Valentine's Day was stamped inside and
it was ready to go.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have
been inspired in some way and will come again soon.
Until next time,
think red!
