A New Quilt in Progress

I've started and almost finished a new christmas quilt!
Here you see what I started out with. Found more than 40 red and red'n white fabrics from my stash.
(I know....I have a lot, even more than those 40+....)
Cut one 2 1/2" strip from each fabric. Yes, just like a Jelly Roll!

I will pick it up from the quilter tomorrow, then it's binding time! :-)
Well, after the guild meeting tomorrow night...or should I say tuesday? I think so!

Quilt Show

This coming week end,

my local quilt guild will arrange our semi annual

 quilt show.
We are so lucky to have this special place, where we can
show off what we've made during
the last two years!

Silje's purse

A week ago,

 my sons girlfriend was celebrating

her birthday.

So, instead  of going out and buy her something,

I decided to make her something.

She was very happy for it,

and has been using it every day since she got it!

I too really like it,

so now I'm planning on making one for myself!

Happy Birthday Little Princess

My little princess was twelve years old today!

I can't believe how fast the years have gone!

I wrote a little about her here, four years ago.

She is growing in so many ways, 

we see progress every day.

Her she is with her beloved big sister

on sunday, when we had a little family celebration!

Happy Birthday dear!
