Hungry Hungry Plant

Krawka: Crochet pattern amigurumi Hungry Hungry plant, flycatcher, little shop of horrors monster plant by Krawka

https://www.etsy.com/pl/listing/963273067/crochet-pattern-no-2103-hungry-hungry?ref=shop_home_feat_1

!! Important !! Once you will finish do not feed her with blood because I do not guarantee what may happen :)

Hungry Hungry plant is my newest house decoration. She is sitting in her pot on my desk and catches flies (or at least she is trying..), but can be very easily removed from it – she is not attached to the pot in any way. I am extremely proud how she turned out, she is a bit cute and a bit creepy just the way I like it 馃槈

Easter egg decoration - Sheep

Sheep egg cozies - Free Pattern

Sheep egg cozies - Free Pattern

Sheep I made some time ago for my Mom ( She collects sheep of any sorts and kinds). They are wonderful to decorate your table for Easter or basically any other occasion You serve eggs. They look really wonderful, a bit silly maybe but mostly very very cute.
When I was making pictures for this pattern I had this fantasy about making the whole flock of white sheep with only one black in the middle. What a wonderful table decoration that woud be. Anyway I recommend You to make at least two from the pattern below.

Special thanks to +L瓢啤ng B矛nh who motivated me to write this pattern :)

Materials:

  • white, black, brown, beige yarn ( I use the yarn which gauge is 24.0 to 30.0 sts = 4 inches/10 cm )
  • hook 3 mm

Halloween Coaster - Wicked Witch

Halloween Coasters - Wicked Witch pattern

Halloween Coasters - Wicked Witch.
There is no Halloween without witch and from now on without witch coasters. I love green witches they definitely are eye-catching. I decided to make her hair white, but If You would like Your witch to be more colorful make it violet or orange or even blue. Maybe You could do the whole set with different hair colors.

Materials:

  • white, black, green  yarn ( I use the yarn which gauge is 24.0 to 30.0 sts = 4 inches )
  • a bit of white material for eyes.
  • hook 3 mm

Halloween Coasters - Spirit

Halloween Coasters - Spirit. He is making a cute set with ghost, they are not the same but kind of opposite to each other. I love his little wings, I need to confess I made them differently and change them a few times until I made THE ones. Pattern is very simple even for the beginners ( same as vampire and all of my Halloween Coasters to be honest).

Halloween Project sneak peek 2

Halloween Coasters are here! I think they will be a wonderful table decoration for everyone who like their Halloween to be a little creepy and much more cute. I hope You like them. Until now I made seven of them:

  • Ghost
  • Spirit
  • Vampire
  • Frankenstein
  • Witch
  • Black Cat
  • Orange Cat

but I can't say I won't make more. I love projects that have the same base. I can make bases while watching my son, it is easier to watch out for one hook and one yarn than a whole bunch of potentially dangerous accessories and bunch of parts like hands, eyes, etc.
So I have other ideas for coasters like werewolf or pumpkin, maybe You have some suggestions?

Starting today I am collecting pictures, rewriting patterns and making posts about each of those coasters starting with the base and smile pattern which is cohesive in all coasters.

Easter egg cozies inspired by Batman and Superman - Bunnys as superheroes Bunnyman and Superbunny crochet free pattern

Egg Cozies Easter Project - Flower

Krawka: Egg cozies - colorful Easter flowers for a table decoration or to Easter basket

Those spring, colorful crochet flowers looks great as a decoration not only for Easter table. I would love to see the whole set of them all in different colors to cozy a dozen of eggs.

I strongly recommend this pattern for everyone who is starting to learn crocheting. All You need is a crochet hook (3 mm) and few colors of yarn, 3 at least green, yellow and one other color for petals
( I use the yarn which gauge is 24.0 to 30.0 sts = 4 inches if You would like to know more please write me a message and I will tell You the exact yarn I use)
Back to pattern It's really easy to follow, very fast to make all the parts for flower plus it's not that much sewing which is important for the starting projects in which You don't have so much experience.

Abbreviation You will need to know to follow this pattern:

MR - magic ring - it's one of the most common ways to start amigurumi. It's easier to see than to write bout it so I would advise You to see how to make MR for example here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLUaywX0-WE
It's not my video I'm only providing a link cause I think it's very clear and easy to follow.

sc - single crochet

sc 3 - make 3 single crochets in next 3 chains

inc - increase, make 2 single crochets in one chain

dec - decrease, make 1 crochet from 2 chains of last round
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcycT1YmSSM
Again I'm not the author of this video.

When You now the abbreviation You can start to make parts of Your flower ( free pattern for each part below)

Egg Cozies Easter Project - Base pattern for cozies - FREE

Zestawienie szyde艂kowych ocieplaczy na jajka, kurki, kr贸liki, kurczaki. Amigurumi egg warmers for easter gifts:crochet chickens, crochet rabbits

A simple idea for Easter gifts for family and friends - egg warmers :) or as You prefer Egg Cozies
Easter is such a wonderful time. I love this Christmas especially because of  color and flowers and warmth - well that isn't so sure actually two years ago we had snow on Easter, my godson was building snow rabbits in the garden :D. But what I like about Easter most of all is all the arts and crafts that comes with it.

Since I remember we were painting Easter eggs, for almost 10 years now me and my husband are competing whose eggs will be the best. I need to say my always won cause they were much more commercially friendly for the whole family to vote :) They were filled with cute chickens and bunny's while my husband painted hell hounds and crazy rabbits and whatever his crazy imagination told him. I actually always like his creations most and it actually tough me to think both:inside and outside the box :) In other words to make simple-obvious projects and creative-crazy too.

So beside the egg painting I was also trying to figure out other Easter projects that would give vent to my creativity and christmas spirit. That's how the egg cozies project was created. I wanted to decorate eggs in some other way than painting. Firstly I was going to make one pair of cozies for my table but I couldn't decide what to make I especially wanted to make Mickey and Minnie pair but I new it wasn't very Easter-y so I ended up making a bunch of cozies for my friends and family. I made sheeps, chickens a lot of rabbits, zombie sheep and rabbit :D

It's all based on one cozies crochet base (pattern below), which is very easy to make. I suppose there can be some differences in egg sizes (mine were quite big :) so when You will be making Yours please remember to try them on before making a lot of them.

If You like make Your own cozies with my base pattern or use ones I already made I wrote down the patterns:

Mickey & Minnie
http://krawka.blogspot.com/2014/07/projekt-jajo-myszka-miki-i-mini.html

and lastly SuperRabbit and Rabbitman they are a little differently made but are very very cute. I couldn't give them to anyone and I had to keep them :)
http://krawka.blogspot.com/2014/07/superkrolik-i-krolikman.html

I also wanted to add that this is such an easy project I recommend it to anyone who is learning to crochet, especially easy are flowers. Enjoy the free pattern and please don't forget to send me photos of Your creations.
And Happy Easter (if it's actually Easter when You are reading this:)
