Cowl - winter collection

Krawka: Modern cowl collection by Krawka

Cowl collection I have made this winter for my friends and family.  As You already know I am sewing now from quite some time, my husband bought me my first sewing machine and since then I am torn between sewing, crocheting and my other activities.  I have million ideas per second and I am so proud this one - the cowl project came to life.

Cowls are made from tweed wool or cotton fabric outside and very soft fleece inside. Black border is made from vegan leather. For closing my cowls I used big buttons or snap fasteners.

The cowl is very elegant and modern looking. I am wearing one of them ( the bottom one one the upper picture is mine) and I am very pleased with it. I am wearing it on top of my black coat and it looks super elegant.

After Christmas time I made final three cowls which are now on sale in my shop. If You are interested please visit the below links. If You have any questions please contact me via etsy shop or email: krawka.blog@gmail.com

Puff Quilt - mini tutorial

Krawka: Puff quilt - mini tutorial on how I have made four chair cushions using puff quilt technique

Have You ever tried quilting and even puff quilting? Let me tell You - it's fun. My favourite thing in this kind of work is You need to be focused when You are starting, but later on You will work on autopilot ( DO I have to tell You can watch Your favourite tv show when on autopilot...)

I have made my first puff quilt project this December. I made four chair cushions for my Mom as a gift. As I have said before the first one was a challenge, the next ones was pure fun with Vikings or Elementary I don't remember exactly...

First thing You need to do when making a puff quilt is cutting Your material to squares. I made the quilt with two different patterned materials - dotted and stripped. The other material is only used on the back of quilt and it will not be seen, so You can use the material You hate, as I did :)

Sewing machine/ It's all my husband's fault !

Okey guys so You need a little explanation on Why am I so rarely publishing new posts on my blog. Here comes the explanation: It's all because of my husband!!! 1-st thing he made me two babies which are taking almost all of my time, 2-nd thing he bought me the sewing machine! I have to tell You I am in love in sewing it is so fast compared to crocheting. It doesn't mean I will give up my biggest hobby - crocheting it only mean I have a new one and I decided I will also share it with YOU.

So here is the list of things I have already made:

1. Elephant baby lovey - It's actually Frankenstein's monster elephant baby lovey to be precise and I absolutely love it. I made it for my youngest son to hug and love and watch colorful elements and play with different ribbons - long story short - He is not interested :D:D But it looks great, right?!

2. Hello Kitty Pillows - Two white Hello Kitty's were a present for my beloved sister's daughter who is the biggest fan of Hello Kitty's and pink :) The black cat Koko Kitty ?? is the version for my 3 yo son to not leave him empty handed ( He actually thought it's an owl - which is a good assosiation cause owl's are lately drawn with this kind of eyes) But my personal favourite is Stormtrooper Hello Kitty Pillow!
