POlittle - little PO - part 1

For my next project I decided to make another panda ( Yes, I love pandas, zombie pandas, kung-fu pandas and so on....). This one is from KUNG FU PANDA 2 It appears on screen only for a few seconds but It was long enough to steal my heart. Below the screen I'm writing about.

I think It would be the exact same size as my drawing ( half of A4 paper) so It will fit in both hands. I think the most challenging will be to make it a bit aged, that is why I don't want to use white and black yarn but some shades of grey.

Wish my luck, if anyone have any suggestions please hurry up and comment :)  and like always I will write exerything down to make pattern in the next post.

Materials (Materiały):

• brown, black, light green, dark green yarn  (brązowa, czarna, jasnozielona, ciemnozielona włóczka)
• little piece of black material for eyes ( kawałeczek czarnego materiału na oczy )
• hook 3mm and 2mm (szydełko 3 mm i 2mm)
• flowerpot (doniczka)
• wires (druty)
• plastic cup and glue gun (plastikowy kubeczek i pistolet na klej?)

Dino-puppet

Od kiedy urodził się mój synek nosiłam się z zamiarem kupienia kukiełki, ale we wszystkich sklepowych coś mi nie odpowiadało (nie ukrywam, że często cena...). Postanowiłam więc postawić na własnoręczną kukiełkę i był to strzał w 10-tkę. Już za pierwszym razem gdy pokazałam Aleksowi (synkowi wtedy miał rok i 3 miesiące) zaczął wytykać język i otwierać paszczę tak jak dinozaur, co przyniosło dużo uciechy całej rodzinie. Od tamtej pory dino zdążył pojechać z nami na wakacje i nawet wybrał się na wycieczkę do dino-parku w Łebie... Mam nadzieje, że poniższy wzór przyda się jeszcze komuś i przyniesie światu więcej wytykających języki dzieci.... :)

( Since my son was born I intended to buy him a hand puppet, but in all puppets in shops something did not suit me (I admit that often the price ...). So I decided to make my own puppet and it was a great desicion. Already for the first time when I showed Dino to Alex (son then had a year and three months than) he began to point out the tongue and open jaws just like a dinosaur, which brought a lot of fun for the whole family. Since then dino was on vacation with us and even went on a trip to the dino-park in Leba ... I hope that someone will make another puppet from the pattern below, and the world will gain one more tongue-out-sticking baby.... :)

Potworne buciki - ogólny wzór

Buciki te projektowałam z myślą o dzieciach do 6 miesiąca, które nie potrafią jeszcze chodzić czy raczkować. Buciki pomagają zainteresować dziecko stópkami, dlatego właśnie skierowane są buzią do góry. Całkowity rozmiar skończonego bucika to 10 cm, tak aby pasował na różne rozmiary dziecięcych stópek, pomiędzy 0, a 6 miesięcy.
Tematyka moich bucików to urocze potworki różnych rodzajów i kolorów o czym można się przekonać przeglądając inne posty z tej serii.

( I designed these booties for babies up to 6 months, who can not walk or crawl yet. That kind of colorful and playful booties can help interest  your child with his/her feet, which is why their mouths are directed upwards. The overall size of the finished bootie is 10 cm, so as to fit the different sizes of children's feet, between 0 and 6 months.
For this project I decided I would do creepy-cute monster booties, as You can see in my other posts)

Pirat-panda-zombie maskotka

Pirat-panda-zombie (czy panda-zombie-pirat?) zrobiona dla mojego synka, który kocha pandy i piratów, zombie to raczej wymysł mój i męża, ale myślę że w przyszłości i on będzie fanem takich klimatów. Zdjęcia poniżej pokazują maskotkę od projektu na papierze do gotowej zabawki. Jak widać głowa ewoluowała w procesie powstawania. Na początku chciałam wypchać go grochem lub ryżem, ale w końcu w środku znalazła się wata, tak aby panda nie była zbyt ciężka.

(Pirate-panda-zombie (or panda-zombie-pirate?) Made for my son who loves pandas and pirates, zombies are the love of mine and my husband, but I think that in the future he will be a fan of them too. Photos show the mascot from the project on paper to finiched toy. As you can see the head has changed in the process. At the beginning I wanted to fill him with rice, but eventually used cotton, so that the panda was not too heavy.)
