Hungry Hungry plant is my newest house decoration. She is sitting in her pot on my desk and catches flies (or at least she is trying..), but can be very easily removed from it – she is not attached to the pot in any way. I am extremely proud how she turned out, she is a bit cute and a bit creepy just the way I like it 😉

Last Christmas I gave you my....... ‘Christmas CAT tree’ pattern (Christmas CAT tree pattern) and you all loved it so much 😊(thank you for all the emails and photos), so this year for all you cat lovers out there I have made this little snowCAT/snowCATman/ snowmanCAT.

Finished CAT is around 18 cm (7 inches) tall.

This Christmas CAT tree was made as a small gift for my cat loving friend, but as I made the first one my boys asked if I could make some more, they wanted to give them as a presents to the kindergarten teachers and best friends. I thought the idea was great, the CAT tree is fairly easy and quick to make, sewing all the pieces together is a bit more time-consuming, but still I wonder how many I can make before Christmas :)

Finished CAT tree is around 17 cm (6.7 inches) tall.

Cute cloud mini pillow - free pattern

Crochet cloud when finished is around 15 cm, it is a small but very cute addition to my nursery, but I think this design is very versatile and those mini pillows will fit any room you want.

Gingy the Gingerbread man

Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope you will all enjoy this free Christmas pattern for Gingy the Gingerbread man. 

Each cookie is around 12 cm (4.7 inches) I actually plan to make more of them for a Christmas tree - each slightly different than the other - or maybe I will make 2 of each and ask my kid to look for pairs :) Or as usual I will make a whole bunch and give them all away before Christmas.

Starry night - new crochet frame pattern

Starry Night is one of my favorite paintings. I love it's vibrant colors and movement and a small hint of craziness :) - Did you know Van Gogh painted it while in a mental hospital - there is also some unexpected math behind it I didn't even know about until last week, more info here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMerSm2ToFY.

I made this picture for myself to have this small piece of great art in my home. I am very happy with the result and I think you can feel a bit of VanKrawka in it :)

Balloon ship - my favorite crochet frame

It's a very important picture frame for me, by an unexpected series of circumstances this Balloon Ship became the part of my shops visual representation, and since then I had a numerous question about the frame and the pattern. So here it is!

Enchanted clock

Crochet Cogsworth, when finished, is 28 cm tall (11 inches).

I made this project for myself, I think it will be the greatest decoration of my house. I am planning to put it in the most prominent place, perhaps over the fireplace. Someday I plan to make Lumiere too, they would make the fantastic pair.

Four-leaf clover for luck - FREE PATTERN

Four-leaf clover for luck. I made this little clovers as a house warming gift for my friend. They are very cute and little and filled with positive thoughts and good energy and the most important: You don't have to water them :)

Materials:

• brown, lighter green, darker green yarn ( I use the yarn which gauge is 24.0 to 30.0 sts = 4 inches )
• cotton wool or some other stuffing (I used green foam for this project, You can see it on the photos)
• black beads  ( 4 mm would be best)
• hook 3 mm 
• small flower pot
• small wire
• hot glue - to glue the ground to the pot.

Crochet buttons

 

Collection of crochet buttons. Owls, bear, zombie rabbit, pirate rabbit, my neighbor totoro, hedgehog, basically anything that came to my head before I ran out of buttons. It all started when I bought a pack of DIY buttons, they look like this:

I think the fought is to put any material You want on the front side, squeeze with the back side and voila You have Your DIY button ready.  I am not too good at following instructions so I though I would make the crochet buttons instead.... 

My favourite ones are brown bear and brown owl, weird cause I don't like the color :P I use the brown bear not as a button but as a brooch.

There is a BLACK cat on my head?!

I made the black version of a hairclip from my previous post for a custom order. I hope Marta will be very happy about it and will wear it everyday to work :P

There is a cat on my head?! - hairclip free pattern

Is there a cat on Your head? There isn't?! Oh no... I feel so sorry for You :) I have a good news for You, You can change it right know with my free crochet pattern.

I am in love with the idea of crochet hair clips and accessories so the cat is definitely the first of the series, one I have ready already is a pony so this will probably be my next post. 

But back to the kitten - he is cute and little and white, perfect for every little and not so little girl (or a boy).  If I didn't sale You the idea yet I can tell You he looks great on every hair color - I checked, and both on loose hair and as a decoration of a pony tale - as You can see on the photos. Another adventure is that he is ease to make even for a beginner and not that time consuming for the impatient ones.

All You need to make him is a white and black yarn plus a hair clip - You can buy one or use some old and unused ones.

Materials:

• white, black yarn ( I use the yarn which gauge is 24.0 to 30.0 sts = 4 inches )
• hook 3 mm
• cotton wool or other filament.
• hairclip ( Mine is the black basic clip almost 5 cm)

Reindeer Christmas Tree ornament - free pattern

I made Reindeer to keep company to Mr Snowman from my previous post. They look great together on a Christmas Tree.
Finished reindeer is 13 cm tall.

Materials:

• light brown, dark brown, beige yarn ( I use the yarn which gauge is 24.0 to 30.0 sts = 4 inches )
• hook 3 mm
• plastic ball (mine are 5-5,5 cm diameter) and stuffing for the body. If You don't have ball don't worry just stuff the head with some light stuffing.
• a bit of thin wire, like 5 cm max, for the loop on top of the head
• a bit of black material for the eyes
