Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #50

Hi Stamping Friends!!
Wow!!!  Two posts in the same week.  Something special must be going on.  Actually there is!!!  A year ago this week, we posted our very first challenge at the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge.  So we wanted to celebrate our first birthday with a bright and colorful party!!!  We hope you can come join the fun!

Stamps:  Punch Bunch (SAB)
Paper:  Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, and various DSP (some retired)
Accessories:  Melon Pom-pom Trim, Scallop Square Punch, Glimmer Brads, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Turquoise Grosgrain

Sketch Challenge:  CREATIVE-SKETCHES CS31

Don't you just love all the bright colors?!!  So many fun shades to choose from.  I made the party hats using the Square Scallop Punch and then just hand cutting them.  Love the little pom-pom tops!!  Make sure you stop by the Stampin' Celebration blog and see what the other designers have created.  We hope you can play along!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #48

Hi Stamping Friends!!
Aren't these Easter images so beautiful?!!  I love the softness of them.  Pastels were meant for Easter.  I hope you can play along with us at the Stampin' Celebration Challenge this week.  In fact, this challenge will last for two weeks, so you have plenty of time to create a pretty Easter project.

Stamps:  Easter Blossoms
Paper:  Pretty In Pink, So Saffron, Whisper White, Pretty In Pink DSP
Accessories:  Pear Seam Binding, Oval die, Decorative Label Punch, Basic Pearls, Markers, Paper Peircer

So I'll admit it.  I kind of cheated on this challenge.  This card was one of last month's hostess club projects.  I just never had enough time to upload it to my blog (In case you haven't noticed, I haven't been blogging much lately!).  But when I saw the challenge pictures and realized I didn't have time to stamp anything, I decided to use this.  :)

Easter Blossoms has to be my favorite stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I just love all the images in it.  I really hope it makes it to the new Idea Book and Catalog.  Although I don't know who else I can sell it to.  I think I've sold it to just about everyone I know!

Don't forget, the last day to order from the Occasions Mini Catalog is April 30th.  So make sure to get all the things on your list.  Things like seam binding, glass glitter, punches, and all the  adorable stamp sets!!  Don't miss out!

And be sure to stop by the Stampin' Celebration Challenge and see what beautiful projects the other dsign team members created.  Unlike me, they actually put some effort into it!  Hopefully this uncreative season will soon pass and I will be back in the mood to stamp.  My Summer Mini pre-order arrived on Monday and I haven't even opened the box yet!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #47

Hi Stamping Friends!!
Wow these weeks are flying by!  I can't believe it is already Thursday and time for another Stampin' Inspiration Challenge!!!  Aren't these pics adorable?!!  I love them!!  Lots of cute colors and patterns.  I'm always a sucker for stripes and polka dots.

Stamps:  Animal Stories, Something to Celebrate (Hostess)
Paper:  Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz DSP, Marina Mist, Whisper White, Super Duper Old DSP that I can't remember the name of... I think it came in a SAB scrap kit quite a few years back.
Accessories:  Scallop Circle Punch, Tasteful Trim die, Marina Mist Grosgrain, Ice Cream Parlor Buttons (SAB), Beautiful Wings Embosslit

Sketch Challenge:  MOJO MONDAY #185

As you can tell, I was really drawn to the stripes in this picture.  And of course the cute little elephant.  I was so bummed that I did not finish this card in time to take a pic yesterday when it was 75 degrees with beautiful sunshine.  Today it is 53 degrees with overcast skies and drizzly rain.  Yuck!!

I hope you have a chance to pop in over at the Stampin' Celebration Challenge.  The design team did such a wonderful job with this inspiration.  Everyone found something unique that they were inspired by.  And although 3 of us used elephants, they are all different elelphant stamps!!  How fun is that!

I hope you are having a fabulous week!
Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #46

Hi Stamping Friends!!
Did you think I had fallen off the face of the earth?!!  Not quite, but I did spend a couple days at Disneyland!!  I'll tell you all about it tomorrow.  But for today, I actully stamped something.  I know!!  It's a miracle!!!

Don't you love the colors in these photos for the Stampin' Celebration Inpsiration Challenge?  I'm a sucker for any color combo that contains pink and orange.

Stamps:  Great Friend
Paper:  Whsper White, Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette DSP, Melon Mambo "faux Mother-of-Pearl"
Accessories:  Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Decorative Label Punch, Oval Punch, Basic Rhinestone, Pumpkin Striped Grosgrain

Sketch Challenge:  Clean and Simple FTL133

Nothing fancy, but at least I stamped!!  It's been so long, I think I've forgotten how.  The Faux Mother-of-Pearl technique is very easy and fun to do.  I did it with my hostess club last month and had these extra pieces laying around.  I thought they would be perfect for this card.
Here's what you need:
Glossy Cardstock
Frost White Shimmer Paint
Melon Mambo Ink
Brayer
Plastic Wrap
Paper Plate

Take a piece of plastic wrap and wad it into a ball.  Pour a small amount of the Shimmer Paint onto the paper plate.  Dab the scrunched up plastic wrap into the paint and dab off any excess on the side of the plate.  Then dab the paint onto the Glossy Cardstock.  Keep dabbing.  Do not cover up the entire cardstock with the paint.  Leave some clean spaces.  Let the paint dry.  When completely dry, use your brayer to ink up the entire piece of cardstock in ink color of your choice.  I used Melon Mambo.  Then you can punch out any shape with it.  If you do want to stamp on your Faux Mother-of-Pearl, make sure you use Staz-On ink, so it doesn't wipe off.  Super easy!!!

I hope you will take a minute and visit the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge.  Our Design Team always does such a fabulous job week after week.  I'm so glad to be among their company!!  And I hope you will take a minute and play along with us!!  We would love to see what beautiful stamping project you create!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #45

Hi Stamping Friends!!
Well, I'm sorry to say that I still don't have any stamping goodness to share with you today.  But I did want to share the gorgeous inspiration picture from the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge this week.  I hope you have a chance to play along with us!  If anything, you need to stop by and check out what our fabulous DT has created.  The are a talented bunch of stampers!

I think I figured out the reason my mojo has joined Elvis and left the building.  I've had the chills and achiness and a headache for the last three days.  Not feeling like myself at all.  I've been trying to take it super easy.   I really don't need to get sick!!  Our 5yo has strep and is on antibiotics.  There is just too much yuck being spread out there!!  Here's hoping next week will be a better week.

Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #44

Hi Stamping Friends!!!
This post is much later than I wanted it to be.  But when you don't start stamping your Stamping Celebration card for today's challenge until 8:30 am this morning, things tend to run a little behind!!  :)  I wanted to stamp yesterday, but just couldn't squeeze it in.  So this morning I felt quite rushed and had to keep things a little simple.

BECAUSE I CARE

STAMPS:  Beacuse I Care, Great Friend
PAPER:  Pear Pizzazz, Soft Suede, Very Vanila
ACCESSORIES:  Decorative Label Punch, Circle Punches, Basic Pearls, Beautiful Wings Embosslit, Vintage Wallpaper EF, Champagne Glass Glitter

Sketch Challenge:  PALS PAPER ARTS #85
Reipe Challenge:  STAMPIN' ROYALTY #63 Texturize

I love the soft greens and golds in the inspiration photos.  Very elegant.  It doesn't look very pretty in the picture, but the Champagne Glass Glitter really adds some elegant sparkle to the flower.  I did a little bit of thumping on the flower with my More Mustard and Soft Suede markers.  I should have done a little more.  But since I was pressed for time, I had to leave well enough alone!!  I hope you will stop by the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge and play along with us this week.  We would love to have you as our next Party Guest Designer!!

Tomorrow will be my second segment of For Real Friday.  I do have a card I will be sharing, so I hope you at least stop by for the stamping stuff.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #43

Hi Stamping Friends!!
Doesn't all that chocolate just look delish?!!!  If St. Patrick's Day includes this much sweet stuff, I think I want to be Irish!!!  Candace put together a yummy combination of greens and browns for us at the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge... my two favorite colors!!  I hope you can join us and play along!

STAMPS:  Season Of Friendship, Punch Bunch, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Woodgrain BG, So Happy For You (SAB)
PAPER:  Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Wild Wasabi, Garden Green, Very Vanilla, So Saffron
ACCESSORIES:  Owl Punch, Bird Punch, Top Note die, Elegant Lines EF, Tab Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Modern Label Punch, Glimmer Brad, Chocolate Grosgrain (retired)

Sketch Challenge:  TECHNO STAMPER #164
Theme Challenge:  HAND STAMPED SENTIMENTS #58

I just couldn't resist making one of those cute little owl leprechauns that I've seen all over the web this week.  I created his hat using the Tab punch, but I had to punch it a few times to make it smaller.  I also cut the "brim" of it to shorten it.  I really should have had him holding a little cupcake in his wing.  That would have been perfect!!  As usual, all my great ideas come a day late.  :)

I have a fun "shamrock" story to share.  On Saturdays, when I was much younger and we would visit my grandparents, my grandpa would mow the lawn and he would intentionally mow around the clover patches.  In the afternonn we would go outside with my grandma and sit around the patches and look for 4 leaf clovers.  They were really hard to find!!  If we found one, grandma always made a really big deal about it.  We would take it inside and press it between the pages of a book.  I never thought much about those "lucky" clovers until many years later when we were packing up grandma and grandpa's house.  I was told to look through all the old books on their bookshelf, in case they had stashed any money in them.  I found no cash, but I found something even better...  lots and lots of 4 leaf clovers that had been lovingly searched for on sunny afternoons with my dear sweet grandma.

I hope you have a chance to stop by the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge and see what our fabulous desing team has created.  Those girls just rock my socks every week!!  It's so exciting to be a part of such a talented group of stampers.  And I hope you are inspired to create something yummy to share with us.  We look forward to seeing all your scrumptious creations!

Well tomorrow I'm starting a new little adventure here on the blog.  And I have to admit, I'm really nervous about it!!  Don't ask me why.  It's just silly.  Each Friday I will be posting "For Real Friday".  It's going to be a day where I share all kinds of real randomness from my everyday life.  Stamping randomness.  Mom randomness.  House randomness.  I have no idea what it's going to look like, but it should be fun.  You will probably find out more about me than you care to know.  :)  And yes, there will be pictures.  So stay tuned!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #42

Hi Stamping Friends!!
We are "going green" at the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge this week!!  Have you ever seen so many shades of green shamrocks in your life?!!  So many fun little images!!

Stamps:  Got Treats?, Dot, Dot, Dot, So Happy For You (SAB)
Paper:  Garden Green, Wild Wasabi, Old Olive, Whisper White, Playdate DSP, Garden Green Patterns DSP
Accessories:  Designer Buttons, Linen Thread, Circle Punches, Scallop Circle die, Circle die, White Grosgrain, Perfect Polka Dots EF

Sketch Challenge:  SWEET SUNDAY SKETCH #106

If you've been around my blog long enough, you know that one of my most favorite colors is green.  But this card is green overload for even me!!  Maybe it's the Old Olive that's throwing me off.  But I really loved the pattern in the Paydate DSP and wanted to use it. And of course I zeroed in on the polka dots.  Sometimes I wonder if I could go a whole week without using polka dots.  Nah!!  That would be an awful week!

I really had to get creative with a shamrock image.  I really don't "do" St. Patrick's Day, so I don't have alot of stamps to choose from.  I homeschool my kids and we never really even talk about St. Patrick's Day.  One time I tried to explain to them about wearing green on March 17th or you get pinched.  They thought it was weird.  :)  I kind of have to agree.  I always felt sorry for the kid at school who had to say he was wearing green underwear, just so everyone would leave him alone.

I hope you will take a minute to stop by the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge and see what the other design team members have created.  As always, they have done a fabulous job.  They are the best!!  And if you are feeling a little green, (kind of like Kermit the Frog) then play along with us this week!!  Who knows.  You could be our next Party Guest designer!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!!

Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #41

Hi Stamping Friends!!
It's time for another celebration at the the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge.  This week we have a gorgeous purple, green, and black theme.  Very striking!  Looks like it could be a bridal shower, but because I'm still celebrating the 2nd birthday of my favorite online Stampin' Up! only online hangout, Stampin' Addicts, so I just had to make another birthday card!! :)

Stamps:  Fifth Avenue Floral, Create A Cupcake (sentiment)
Paper:  Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla, First Edition DSP
Accessories:  Oval Die, Perfect Details Texturz plate, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Striped Grosgrain, Razzleberry Brads

Sketch Challenge:  CLEAN & SIMPLE #128

Can you believe this is the first time I've ever used my First Edition DSP?!!  Shame on me!!  It's such fabulous paper.  I don't know why I never opened it before!!  I was really inspired by the striking colors in the photographs.  Of course you can't not be inspired by the flowers as well.  So pretty!  Be sure to stop be the Stampin' Celebration blog and see what the other amazing designers have created.  Those girls really know how to stamp!!

And don't forget about tomorrow... the Stampin' Addicts Birthday Techniques Blog Hop!!!  I will be showcasing the "spotlighting" technique.  I hope you can hop along with us!!  It will be a party you don't want to miss!

Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #40

Hi Stamping Friends!!
Woo!  Hoo!  We are past "hump" day.  The weekend is right around the corner!  Bummer that rain is in our forecast.  That means I get to sit at a wet high school swim meet on Friday.  :(  But don't these inspiration pics from the Stampin' Celebration Challenge just make you smile?!  They remind me of a bright sunny day.  I just get happy looking at them!  I love the bright yellow and green.  I think I was on Valentine red and pink overload from the last month!!  Time to add some color to my world!!  I love the colors so much, I decided to make two cards.

Stamps:  Perfect Punches
Paper:  Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight Patterns DSP
Accessories:  Large Oval Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Daisy die, Brights Designer Buttons, Tasteful Trim die, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Old Olive Satin Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones

Sketch Challenge:  UNSCRIPTED #93

Stamps:  Upsy Daisy, So Happy For You (SAB)
Paper:  Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Playdate DSP
Accessories:  Top Note die, Daisy die, Tasteful Trim die, Old Olive Satin Ribbon, Sweet Stitches Fabric Brads, Perfect Polka Dots EF, DD and OO Markers

Sketch Challenge:  THE SWEETEST THING #104
Technique Challenge:  MOXIE FAB Stamping With Markers

Happy sigh!  Did I say how much I love these colors?  :)  I'm not done with them yet.  I have another card in the works for my Sale-A-Bration Saturday post and may even have to use them again for Challenge Monday.  Maybe if I use enough bright happy colors, the weather will do the say and be bright and happy instead of cold and dreary.  I could only wish!

Be sure and stop by the Stampin Celebration Challenge and see what the other Design Team members have created.  I'm tellin' ya.  Those girls rock my socks off every week!! Such a creative bunch they are! And I hope you have a chance to play along with us.  We always welcome more stampers!

Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #39

Hi Stamping Friends!!
So glad you stopped by today!!  It's Thursday, the day for my most favorite (and the best!) stamping challenge of them all... the Stampin' Celebration Challenge!!!  :)  We are having one final Valentine's celebration this week with all the traditional valentine themes: red and pink and hearts and sweets!!!  I hope you will come celebrate with us!!

Stamps:  Teeny Tiny Wishes, All Holidays, Tiny Tags
Paper:  Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso, Early Espresso Patterns DSP, Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose, Glimmer Paper
Accessories:  Perfect Polka Dots EF, Tasteful Trim die, 3/4" Circle Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Modern Label Punch, Tag Punch, Basic Pearls, Basic Rhinestones, Brads, Mat PAck, Paper Piercer, Striped Grosgrain, Hemp Thread

I pretty much CASEd this layout from the Stampin' Success magazine, which is a Stampin' Up! publication for demonstrators only.  I added a little more to my card, like the paper piercing and the embossing.  But the layout is pretty much an exact CASE.  The Stampin' Success magazine is just one of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! demo.  The 20% discount is a pretty good thing too!  If you have ever considered being a SU! demo, now is the perfect time to join.  Now through March 31st, you get the demo Starter Kit at a 15% discount.  Plus you will receive a special bonus bundle of over $50 in FREE products!!!  How fabulous is that?!  Contact me if you are interested in learning more.

I'm looking forward to doing a workshop this Saturday, so I don't know if I will have time to post tomorrow.  But I will be back on Saturday for Sale-A-Bration Saturday.  I may even post the cards that I will be demoing at the workshop!

I hope you have a chance to stop by the Stampin' Celebration Challenge.  I know you will be inspired by all the wonderful stamping creations from our fabulous Design Team.  All these gals are not only super talented stampers, they are super sweet too.  They are such an encouragement to me.  I'm so glad we get to hang out in cyberspace together!!

Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #38

Hi Stamping Friends!
Wow!  The weeks are just flying by!  I can't believe it is already time for another Stampin' Celebration challenge.  Seems like I just posted one!!  This week we are celebrating in elegant style with a classic red and black color scheme.  My family calls this combo the "company colors".  My dad, brothers, and uncles are all truck drivers and their trucks are all painted red and black, with a touch of silver.  Each time they get a new Peterbilt, they paint it to look exactly like the last three.  They have had the same color paint job for so many years, that they are known from California to Minnesota by the look of their trucks.

Stamps:  Tiny Tags
Paper:  Whisper White, Basic Black, Glimmer Paper, Playdate DSP, Patterns Pack DSP
Accessories:  Elegant Lines EF, Scallop Heart of Hearts Embosslit, Black Lace Trim (retired), Tag Punch, Nuetrals Designer Buttons, Heart to Heart Punch, Basic Pearls, Large Heart Punch

Sketch Challenge:  TECHNO STAMPER  TSSC159

I wanted my card to be classy and elegant.  The red Glimmer Paper adds a bit of fun.  I didn't realize how little stamping there actually is on this card!!  Only one tiny tag.  Sometimes a little goes a long way.  I also wanted to share a card that we made at my lsat Hostess Club.  It fits this perfectly with this challenge.

Paper:  Real Red, Basic Black, Watercolor Paper, Glimmer Paper
Accessories:  Lots of Love Letterpress Plate, Heart of Hearts Embosslit, Large Heart Punch, Red Satin Ribbon

I showed my club members how to use the Letterpress Plates.  They all did all great job and I was the only one who messed up her paper!!  I love the look and feel of the Letterpress Plates.  I hope we get some new ones in the next mini catalog.  And I can't get enough of this red Glimmer Paper!!!  The quality is exceptional (this photo does not do it justice!).  Four of my six club members bought it that afternoon.

I hope you have a chance to play along with us at the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge.  Make sure and stop by and see all the other lovely cards the Design Team has created.  Tomorrow I get to be a special guest designer for one of the blog challenges I won recently.  Stop back by and see who it is!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Celebration #37

Hi Stamping Friends!!
Love is in the air at the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge!!  Aren't all those little "love birds" just too cute!!  We hope you will stop by and play along with us this week.  I thought these inspiration pictures were so adorable, that I decided to make two cards.  Bummer is, I only uploaded one of them to our SCIC Ning page and the other is stuck in my desktop PC which is sitting at the shop right now!  If I have time in the morning, I'll take another pic of my other card and add it to this post.  Sorry if you are an email subscriber and get two emails from me tomorrow!  I'll try and get it changed before my post gets sent to you.  ETA:  I added my second card!

SEASON OF FRIENDSHIP

Stamps:  Season of Friendship, Filled With Love
Paper:  Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Pretty In Pink, Whisper White, Playdate DSP
Accessories:  Owl Punch, 3 Heart Punch, Striped Grosgrain, PP Taffetta Ribbon, Brads, Scallop Edge Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Heart-to-Heart Embosslit, retired flower brad, Curly Label Punch

I was inspired by the little owl on the cupcake pick and also by the tree with the birdies hanging from it.  This card ended up with more "stuff" on it than I had intended.  Have you ever had that happen before?  When you just don't know how to stop?  I really need to work on a more clean and simple look.  Sometimes I just think I get too carried away.  This fun sketch comes from the Paper Players.

Here is the second card I made.  Please ignore the terrible pic.  We have no sun (haven't for weeks!) so I had to use my stamping lights.  Thus, the horrible background!

BE MY VALENTINE

Stamps:  Be My Valentine, Love You Much
Paper:  Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink Patterns DSP, Red Glimmer Paper
Accessories:  Heart Pressed Letterpress Plate, Versamark Ink, Irridescent Ice EP, Scalloped Heart-of-Hearts Embosslit, Large Heart Punch, Heart of Hearts Punch, White Satin Ribbon, Basic Pearls, Brights Designer Buttons

I was inspired by the adorable pink and red color theme and all the hearts.  This card is super sparkly IRL.  My original pic shows it much better.  For the letterpress background, I inked up the plate with Versamark, then ran it through my Big Shot, then sprinkled it with Irridescent Ice EP and then heat set it.  I also stamped the main Be My Valentine image with Real Red Craft Ink and then sprinkled it with Irridescent Ice EP as well and embossed it.  My hostess club will be making this card on Saturday afternoon.

For this card I used the Techno Stamper sketch challenge: TSSC158.  I also used the theme challenge from the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog: HSS52 which is to use hearts on your card.  I think I accomplished that!!  And now back to our original post...

Be sure to stop by the Stampin' Celebration blog and see what the other Design Team members have created.  As always, they have stamped some adorable samples.  And we hope you can play along with us this week!!

Remember, tomorrow is the Stampin' Addicts Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop.  You won't want to miss it!!  I will be featuring the set, Wellness Wishes.

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Celebration #36... MDS Style!

Hi Stamping and Scrapping Friends!
Oh. My. Goodness!!  I had soooooo much fun creating this 12x12 digi scrap page with My Digital Studio!!  It is my most favorite MDS page ever!!!  (At least until next week, when I create another one!)  Like I say every time I post an MDS page, I am completely addicted to digi scrapping!  I never thought I would enjoy it this much.  I created this page for the inspiration challenge over at the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge.  Here are the inspiration photos:
I chose to use the colors Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, and Blushing Bride.  Also from the pictures I was inspired by the flowers, the polka dots, and those butterflies by the cupcake.  The fabulous scrap sketch came from the PageMaps blog.  It has been one of my go-to scrap sketch sites for years.  I was a scrapbooker long before I was a stamper.  (A CM party way back in '93 got me hooked!)  And now that I'm back scrapping again with My Digital Studio, I've been visiting PageMaps more and more.  I need to sit with a big stack of paper and print me up last years sketches.  I think I have all of them printed up to 2009.

All the elements I used on this page come with the original My Digital Studio software.  I've purchased ZERO downloads.  I've only done the FREE updates from Stampin' Up!  Of course that will all change on February 1st when I plan on purchasing a boatload of MDS stuff.  I'm really wanting more Designer Series Paper, more embellishments, more kits, more everything!!!

Why am I waiting until 2-1?  So I can get the Sale-A-Bration benefits of course!!  The Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration promotion starts on January 25th.  There are three easy ways to earn FREE products:
1.  Spend $50 and earn one FREE SAB product.  For every $50 you spend, you can choose another FREE SAB product!!
2.  Host a workshop of at least $300 and earn one FREE SAB product in addition to the generous hostess benefits.
3.  Join Stampin' Up! by becoming a demonstrator during SAB and get 15% off your Starter Kit.  Plus, get a bonus bundle filled with over $50 in FREE products!
Contact me if you are interested in learning more about either of these three ways you can earn FREE products!!

This past week I was honored with the Stylish Blogger Award from my very sweet "pretend stamping friend" Cindy at Heart's Delight Cards.  Come back tomorrow and find out 8 things you may not know about me.  Although this may be kinda tough for me, as I talk way too much and my life is an open book!  :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Happy Stamping and Scrapping!

Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #36

Hi Stamping Friends!!
It's time for another inspiration challenge from Stampin' Celebration!  We would love if you stopped by and played with us this week.  I love the colors in these photos.  How could you ever go wrong with pink and brown?  Flowers and chocolate... it's the perfect combination!

BIRTHDAY BLISS

Have you ever had a card get lost in the interpretation?  This card looked so much better in my head.  But when I made it, I was not thrilled with how it turned out.  It's not a bad card, it's just not what I thought it would be.  If I had had more time, I would have re-worked it.  But that just did not happen.  Oh well, sometimes you hit it out of the park, and sometimes you just make it on base.  But at least I didn't strike out completely.  :)

The card base is Chocolate Chip layered with Whisper White and a piece of Blushing Bride DSP.  The cupcake was made using the Big Bold Cupcake Sizzlets.  I ran the bottom "chocolate" piece through the crimper and added the polka dots to the "frosting" using the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder.  The little flowers were punched out with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.  The sentiment comes from the Birthday Bliss set.  The layout for this card comes from the Mojo Monday sketch challenge.

Please stop by the Stampin' Celebration blog and see the fabulous creation the other Design Team members have made for this challenge.  You won't be dissappointed!  And make sure you come back here to tomorrow.  I have a My Digital Studio digi scrap page to share with you using these colors.  I think it is my favorite digi page ever!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping!

SCIC35... Scrapbook Style!

Hi Stamping and Scrapping Friends!!
I'm still celebrating with the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge!!  And I hope you will join the party too!  Check out our darling new blog look at the SCIC and play in this week's challenge and you could have the chance to win some fabulous SU! BLOG CANDY!!

For today's project I used the inspiration photos to design a digital scrapbook layout using My Digital Studio.  I can't believe I'm actually admitting this, but I'm loving digi scrapping!!  I thought I would always be a tried and true paper scrapper, but times are a changing.  Using MDS is soooooo easy.  And there is absolutley NO mess after you are finished!!!

This fabulous sketch came from the Saturday Scrapbook Sketch Challenge at the My Digital Studio website.  This is ScrapSketch13.  I love visitng the MDS website everyday for great inspiration and tips.  It's where I've learned everything there is to know about MDS!

I can't wait to see you over at the Stampin' Celebration party!!  We'd love for you to visit us!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping & Scrapping!
