Happy Birthday PMS and an Announcement!

Happy Friday! This week went so fast because of our Wednesday snow day! Now I have a Super Bowl party to plan and get ready for! Who are you rooting for?

Tuesday was Paper Makeup Stamps 2nd anniversary and Katie is celebrating with this beautiful birthday fairy named Natalie. She's in the store only in digi form now, but may be rubberized soon.
Pretty, huh? I colored her simply in the PMS colors of pink and gray. The sentiment is from the Birthday Cheer set, and I punched it out with an SU scallop oval punch. I did lots of shading, added star dust stickles, and popped up the birthday cake. I purchased this cool Martha Stewart punch over the weekend and ran some gray taffeta ribbon through the holes. The sketch is from this week's Splitcoast sketch challenge.

We are having our monthly hop on Monday, February 7 to celebrate the birthday and all things we love about PMS. I hope you can stop by. Happy 2nd Birthday PMS!

Now for my announcement. I saw a design team call on the Christmas Stampin' All Year Long blog a few weeks ago and contemplated applying. I thought I really don't need to be on another design team, but I thought it would be fun to be on a team where I'll get my Christmas cards done! So I applied and MacKenzie Bruckler (the administrator of the blog) asked me to be on the team! I'm really excited because now I can use all those Christmas stamps that I never get to use. And I have soooo many wonderful stamps I've accumulated over the years. The other very talented girls on the team are:

Happy Thanksgiving and Some Design Team News!

Hi everyone! Happy Thanksgiving! I was supposed to have Thanksgiving at my house this year, but my aunt and uncle invited us over, so how could I say no? I'm missing the smells of the holiday in my house, though!

I wanted to relay some information about some upcoming sales and events for the design teams on currently on.

My Time Made Easy is having a Black Friday sale! All stamp sets and paper are 20% off (this does not include templates or packages)! Now is the time to stock up on what you've been drooling over!

Paper Makeup Stamps is not doing a release this month. We are going to an every other month release instead. This will give us time to use the new (and old) stamps we have and time to show them off! What we are having in place of a release is a customer blog hop on December 7th. All you have to do is commit to creating a card using a Paper Makeup Stamp that is a winter or Christmas image. If can be released this year or a previous year. Please send an email to katie@papermakeup.com with the subject of December Fan Blog Hop to join in the fun. You MUST register for the hop no later than December 3rd. On December 4th we will send out final details to everyone in the hop along with a list of blog hop participants. But you dont have to wait until the 3rd... you can register now just by sending Katie the email! We hope you play along with us!

I was surprised the other day to be asked to be on another design team! Kristin from Artful INKables invited me to join her new design team for the next six months beginning August 1st! Also I'm happy to announce that two of the current members have been asked to stay on as Senior Design Team members, and they are Joy Stagg and Holly McMillen. It seems Holly and I have come full circle! She is currently living in Colorado, but lived about two miles from me previously. She and I met at Starbucks about a year and a half ago to get to know each other and that day I started blogging, thanks to Holly! So I'm so excited to be working with her on this team! I can't wait to share Kristin's designs with you! Let the fun begin!

Big Announcement!

Well, I've been trying very hard to keep this a secret, and now I can SHOUT IT OUT! I've been chosen to be on Lauren Meader's new My Time to Create Challenge design team! I can tell you that I literally jumped out of my chair when I read Lauren's email telling me I was chosen! She is so creative and an amazingly talented crafter that I never thought this would happen! More Good News!

I'm just bursting with good news this weekend! If you read the post below this, you would have known that there was a Paper Makeup Stamps (PMS) blog hop today and a party. A few weeks ago, Katie, the owner of PMS, put out a design team call. Well, I applied and was accepted!

It was announced today. (You can see the announcement on the PMS blog.) She kept the DT in the dark until earlier today, too! I was on pins and needles because I really wanted this! Her fairy stamps really hit home with me! Totally a style I could work with. I just love them! They come in bare rubber and on EZ-Mount and are fabulous stamps. They stamp beautifully!
