Artful Inkables Blog Hop and Release Day!

Are you ready to hop with Artful Inkables today? The DT has three great sets to show you! You should have arrived from the AI blog. If not, start there to get some important information you'll need for a chance to win all three sets pictured here!Don't they look fun and fabulous? I have a card made with the great new set called Fun and Friendly. It has some really cute sayings and images to go along with it. This is what I did with it.I have a friend I go stamp shopping with that would appreciate this card! I stamped the image twice, then cut out the credit card. I added the words "S. Stamper" and "Visa" inside the boxes and colored it with copic markers. I mounted it on the original image with dimensionals, then added crystal effects to give it that shiny credit card look. I then added the red sort of "flames" coming from the credit card to make it look like it was smokin' from all the use it got! I wanted the papers to be really bright and hot, so I used Yo Yo Yellow as my base and some Basic Grey papers (Junebug for the yellow and print and I think the red is from Marrakech). I liked the square red bling and added one to the middle of yellow and red primas.

So do you want to see more? You won't want to miss what the other DT has for you. Your next stop is Crystal's blog. Have fun on the hop and good luck with the blog hop candy! Thanks for stopping by!

My Cute Nephews

My nephews, Ethan and Kristoff, had birthdays in July and August and my niece is having their party tomorrow at a park. She asked me to make the invitations. She sent me a picture of the boys giving each other a bear hug when they were at Disney World a few months ago. So cute!I used the numbers cuttlebug folder and found that if I placed my photo in just the right spot, the 2 and 5, their ages, was visible. So I took a dauber and sponged some blue ink on the numbers to highlight them. Super easy! The information on the inside was just computer generated, and I stamped a fun confetti image on it as well.

Well, that's it for today. I'm on vacation at our cabin and not able to stamp, but I made sure I had a couple of things to post while I was gone. Make sure you come back tomorrow for my first Artful Inkables blog hop. There are three new sets to be released and win! So I hope to see you tomorrow!

Also, today is Freebie Friday at Paper Makeup Stamps! Katie has a great free wordart for you (yes, I said FREE!)! It's another great one and will be available for one week only! Make sure you stop by the PMS blog for that one! Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great weekend!

New PMS Contest!

Hi everyone! I'm currently on vacation, so I won't have anything to show you this week. I do have blog hop coming up on Saturday for a new design team I'm on called Artful Inkables! Please stop in for that. Otherwise, it's going to be quiet here at Kind's Creations!

I do have some exciting contest news to tell you about from Paper Makeup Stamps. This is what Katie has to say about it on the PMS blog:

Have you ever dreamed of having a stamp made just for YOU! Well here's your chance! PMS is hosting a huge challenge! And the winner will get a fairy stamp made just for you! You pick the name... you pick the "action". You can have a fairy made in your image, your child's, your best friends, etc. The fairy can even be made to have your hair cut and style!

Here's what we're doing... We would love to see more PMS creations in our splitcoast company gallery! So all you have to do is sign up for a
Splitcoast Stampers account if you don't already have one. It's free and a great resource for all things stamping! When you upload to your gallery, YOU MUST use the following tags.... Paper Makeup Stamps, PMSgallerychal. And yes, the Paper Makeup Stamps SHOULD have spaces. :)

We will choose all of our OMG did you SEE cards for the blog thru these challenge entries. And each week, 1 OMG card will win the stamp of their choice! That's just as a bonus. :)

You have until August 31st for this challenge. Our winner will be announced on September 1st!

So what do you think? Pretty cool contest, huh? We'd love to see you play in our contest! Also, stop by the PMS blog to see the Monday Challenge - use stickers on your card. Lisa McKinney came up with this challenge, and the DT did a great job with it! You can see their cards on this PMS post. You can also play along by linking your direct post to Mr. Linky on the blog.

Have a great week! I'll be checking in and make sure you stop by for my Artful Inkabables blog hop on Saturday! Bye for now!

Some More Exciting News!!

I was surprised the other day to be asked to be on another design team! Kristin from Artful INKables invited me to join her new design team for the next six months beginning August 1st! I was very excited to have been asked and I'm looking forward to this challenge! I am officially an "INK Girl"! Here are the other new members on the team.

Also I'm happy to announce that two of the current members have been asked to stay on as Senior Design Team members, and they are Joy Stagg and Holly McMillen. It seems Holly and I have come full circle! She is currently living in Colorado, but lived about two miles from me previously. She and I met at Starbucks about a year and a half ago to get to know each other and that day I started blogging, thanks to Holly! So I'm so excited to be working with her on this team! I can't wait to share Kristin's designs with you! Let the fun begin!
