Two More

Many thanks for the kind words about my previous ornaments - here's two more I finished recently.
These were also stitched over our winter months.

Christmas Rose
Little House Needleworks

Christmas Cheer
Country Cottage Needleworks

I've been under the weather since last week. I thought it was just a head cold but could be the virus that seems to be doing the rounds at the moment.  I was so disappointed as I'd planned a weekend of all types of crafty and baking things but I just had no energy.  Hannah and I did make some Christmas cards together and we also had a visit to the local A & P Show. Hannah enjoyed the rides this year, now she's getting a bit bigger and more braver, and DH enjoyed his hot dog, lol.

See you soon xx

Lots of projects on the go

I have lots of different projects on the go at the moment, including lots of little Christmas related ornaments, to pop away into the gift box for later on in the year.

This Christmas ornament took me several nights to stitch, black fabric is not my favourite to stitch on but I really liked the look of this one.

Next up, some simple red and white crochet Christmas stars.

Ages ago I came across a very cute Christmas pudding ornament on Pinterest but no pattern so I had a go a making up my own. Love the lime green ribbon.

These ones are for Hannah's little friends at Christmas.

See you soon x

February Ornaments

My 2015 ornament stitching has started! As you know, Christmas ornaments are some of my favourite designs to stitch and every year I like to gift out several to my family and friends - they must all have quite a little collection from me by now!

Here's February choices:

Lizzie Kate's Winter ABC's
stitched on 32ct waterlily jobelan with recommended threads

Country Cottage Needlework - Dear Santa
# 2 in the Classic Ornaments collection
stitched on 32ct cream belfast with recommended threads

The Little Stitcher - Merry Christmas Deer, freebie found here
stitched on 30ct RR Reproductions Abecedarian linen

I have lots of freebie designs and charts stored away for future stitching so enjoy flicking through these folders each month deciding what to stitch.

I'll be back soon with another little Christmas finish.
